"The men came when we expected them to. They quickly went about their work. When I offered to put the cat somewhere that he would not bother them, they said they were fine and would be careful not to let the cat out. The cat walked around them and apparently did not hinder them in their work as they continued in a consistent manner. When they realized the dust bothered me and they were going to have to go back into an area close to a room I retreated to they asked me if they could close the door to prevent the dust from getting to me again. They were very polite and all the work was completed and clean when they left. We had no complaints."

"Outstanding!  Very thorough and professional cleaning company.  Service was performed as described, plus completed additional "little" things like sweeping porches and garage.  Great communication between company and customer.  They aim to please and welcome feedback."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

In most cases, it is best to leave icicles on your roof and allow them to melt naturally. You should only consider removing them if they are heavy enough to cause damage to your home or pose a risk to people below. Since removing icicles can be dangerous, it is recommended to hire a professional for the job if you have immediate concerns. To prevent the issue from recurring, you should address the underlying cause, such as improving your home's insulation or installing roof heating coils.

Roof cleaning isn’t a necessity, but it can drastically improve your home’s curb appeal and even prolong the life of your roof, so it’s often a great investment. It’s especially a good idea if shaded parts of your roof experience algae or moss growth, which can damage the shingles and hold water against them, increasing the risk of a roof leak.

For the best chemicals to clean a metal roof, stick to gentle detergents such as dish soap, laundry detergent, or car-wash soap mixed in a diluted solution of ¼ cup of soap to 1 gallon of water. These mild cleansers are safe for most roof finishes but are still strong enough to remove remaining dirt particles. Chemicals like bleach or acids can damage your roof, poison landscaping and grass, and pose a hazard to you and your family. If your roof is very dirty or you think it requires chemical cleaning, call a roof cleaning professional.

An improper DIY roof cleaning could cause leaks by damaging the roofing material. Things like using too much water pressure on the shingles or applying a harsh cleaning solution could cause damage. If you do enough damage, you could harm the ability of the shingles or other roof materials to keep water out of your home.

While DIY cleaning is feasible, it's risky without proper equipment or experience. Hiring professionals ensures safety and effectively avoids damage.
