"Of all the contractors that worked hard to remodel my kitchen, Mr. Jose Lopez of High Quality Sheetrock Repair, was my favorite. After the old counter-top and old back-splash tile was removed, Mr. Lopez removed the damaged drywall and replaced it. He carefully cut around the electrical receptacles and the plumbing supply lines to avoid leaving large gaps. He made sure that the drywall was straight so that the new counter-top will lay flush against the wall. He aligned the seams to provide a smooth surface on which to install the new tile back-splash. When told that the new tile may be glass tile, he returned with paint and painted the new drywall white to ensure consistent coloration of the translucent tile. He charged no extra fees for the painting work. The beautifully laid and finished kitchen counter-top and back-splash tile are a testament to Mr. Lopez's forethought, conscientious attitude and careful attention to detail."

"The 3 man crew would show up each and every morning at 8am. They worked hard and fast and performed very high quality work in our home. They handled surprises very well when they opened up the walls and found all the termite damage done to the studs. They had to rebuild the entire baseplate and all the studs. The next surprise they found was before they removed the walls, they determined it will now need to take 3 large beams in the attic to support the removal of the walls. But they worked hard (and smart) and overcame all the obstacles and still came in BUDGET!!! Scott estimated all the work would take 30 days and he was right on. Yes, in 30 days time, he performed all the intense demo work removing the entire old kitchen gutting it completely. Then they wonderfully performed the re-build including new water and gas plumbing, new insulation, sheetrock, pony wall, lighting, electrical, texture and painting.
My wife and I both think they did a wonderful job. We look up at the ceiling now and we cannot tell there was ever a wall there before. They were able to match the texture perfectly and the painting was a perfect match. We both loved Scott's crew... all real nice and hard workers and we never once heard a cuss word out of them.
I would highly recommend Scott Cleveland to others. He is a wonderful Christian man that does everything he tells you he is going to do and will not rip you off. He is also very quality orientated. The day before the project was done, he asked us to make a list of anything we see that we would like him to correct and he completed everything on our list to the tee.
I think the best thing I liked was that he never asked for more money. He stuck right with the original bid even when they discovered certain surprises. Without a great contractor like Scott, we could never have had our dream kitchen within our tight budget.

Jose and assistant removed damaged and cracked sheetrock and prepared them for painting. They then applied texture that matched existing walls and ceiling-both of which were different textures. They removed the old crown molding and put up the new one. They then painted the walls and then the entire ceiling. That's where the ceiling gave us a problem. There were many areas in the ceiling that bled through a yellowish color-most likely because of how old the sheetrock was-which was what the guess was. Therefore, they had to paint the entire ceiling with primer and then paint over it again with the paint. So basically, they had to paint that entire ceiling three times! I felt so bad that they had to do so much extra work! They also painted all of the new crown molding. I was expecting Jose to charge me extra for all the additional work the ceiling created but he didn't! Each time I have used Jose to do all repairs to our house. He does excellent work and his fees are very reasonable.

"I could not have been more pleased with Pete and his assistant. An upstairs bathroom leak ruined the ceiling in my kitchen. The hole was very large - Pete replaced the ceiling with new sheetrock and removed an ugly light fixture I had been wanting to get rid of. He covered everything in my kitchen, so there was NO mess. He was able to match the stippling on the ceiling so that you can't even tell there was a repair - it matches perfectly. While he was here, I had him patch a couple of holes in my bedroom left by old electrical outlets. He fixed those in no time, and the texture matches the rest of the wall perfectly. He used a "wet sanding" technique so that my house didn't get covered in dust. He left everything perfectly clean - maybe cleaner than it was when he started. I paid much less than I thought I would have to pay. I would very highly recommend Pete - both he and his assistant are very good at what they do, and they are very nice people on top of that!"
