"Jose and his crew arrived on time, each man knew his job and got to it immediately. The whole crew worked seamlessly together and got the job finished. "We first hired Deck and Patio to build a new back yard deck with a pergola cover and walkway back in 2015. They showed us pictures from a variety of their past jobs and their references were so impressive that we also hired them to build a stone firepit off the deck, and added accent lighting along the walkway and deck. The finished work was so impressive that we are still (even today) getting comments from guests and even other service people that our back yard is so beautiful, a great place to relax—and they are right. It was not without some glitches along the way—for example, the firepit did not drain off the rain water properly at first. Unpredictable events like this occur with every job, but the difference with this company is that Martin is so attentive and so focused on customer service—they actually stayed with it until the problem was solved, and it has never occurred since. We cannot talk long about Deck and Patio without also referring also to the high level of workmanship and professionalism shown by the work crew. One of these, Charlie Fick, is particularly worthy of comment. A master painter, he takes the time to assess the needs of a job, including not just the color and tone of the paint itself, but the character of the wood and the way it takes the paint. Like Martin, he returns to check the quality of his work and measures it against a high standard. If he is not pleased with the result, he will repeatedly revisit the issue. He told me once that he looks at our place as if it were his own. Finally, our satisfaction with this company is so absolute that we are even discussing a regular program of maintenance in the future for the lighting system, pergola, stonework, and painting. "Hubert and his team did amazing job transforming my 30+ year neglected lawn. They removed 1 tree and overgrown shrubs, trimmed and cleaned up two other trees and installed new flower beds and sod. they also applied a fungicide to the remaining two trees. I had one issue when they started laying the sod in that I felt the grade needed to be raised. Hubert immediately had more topsoil brought in and remedied the situation to my satisfaction. "Before I chose Clemente and Master Landscaping & Irrigation Services to re-landscape my front yard, I naturally checked out his reviews. His reviews were excellent, and now I know why! Clemente always showed up when he said he would, and if he was going to be late, he would text me and let me know! We discussed colors of plantings, the name of plants and how to care for them. He drew a rendering of what the landscape would look like (to scale), which was very helpful. He made sure all of my sprinklers were properly set to water the recently planted landscaping. He did exactly what he said he would do and when a particular plant that he was going to purchase for me didn't look healthy when he was going to buy it, he would call me and suggest an alternative! Clemente is very professional, very meticulous about his plantings (which I love), and he takes great pride in his work. He knows his plants and how to take care of them. I received another quote from another landscaper and that person could have cared less about potentially doing work for me. He did not seem interested in or knowledgeable about landscaping. For this reason, and because of Clemente's expertise, I chose Clemente and Master Landscaping & Irrigation Services. I have received many compliments about how beautiful my front yard looks, thanks to Clemente! I will definitely be calling him back at a later date to re-landscape my back yard!
