"Very professional. Came and gave a quote that was lower than the other quotes I received. Came on a Saturday and was finished with the job in 3 hours. They trimmed 2 trees pruned 2 trees cut 1 tree down and ground the stump. Ground roots from 1 tree pruned 2 trees and cleaned up and hauled trash. I would definitely recommend them for your tree service. Great job guys"

"I Was So Happy, When I Drove Home For Lunch To Check On The Project, I Came Around The Corner onto My Street. What I Saw Was Amazing, I Said To Myself and The Crew, Now That Is How You Trim Up Trees. I Have 2 Big Oak Trees in Front Of House and They Were In Dire Need Of Service. This Company Came In and Did a Fabulous Job, I Was So Breath Taken Bye How Great They Looked. I Would Recommend Anyone Looking For Tree Service, To Hire This Company. You Will Not Find Any Company To Do The Excellent Work These Guys Did, I Can't Thank Them Enough For There Service. Want It Done Right, Contact This Company, For Sure. "This was a fantastic company! They did a great job in a timely manner. I was impressed by the care taken by the workers to be sure nothing was damaged when trees were cut and trimmed. They took away the cut branches and even used a leaf blower to finish up. The owner was friendly and concerned to be sure everything was properly taken care of. The cost was very good too. I'm very impressed and will be using their services again for my upcoming landscaping work. I highly recommend them!"

"They have done a wonderful job maintaining the lawn and are east to work with. I also hired them to trim the large oak tree in our backyard that had branches hanging over the roof. They did a great job of trimming, cleaning up all the branches and gutters and hauling everything away. I highly recommend them!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Sudden oak death and oak wilt are different diseases. Oak wilt first shows up in tree leaves while sudden oak death affects the branches and trunk. However, as symptoms in both can overlap, it’s best to consult a professional arborist tree expert for a proper diagnosis and development of a treatment plan.

If you’re taking down a tree that you don’t suspect is affected by disease or pests and it’s nowhere near your home or other structures, then calling in a tree company should work fine. However, anything more involved means an arborist is a better option. These pros have years of experience with tree removal and can safely take down trees located next to structures, and they have the tools, sanitization equipment, and experience to remove sick or dying trees without infecting nearby trees.

A chainsaw is the best tool to cut down a tree, but you may also use a handsaw or ax. You may also want to use a lopper or pole saw to remove limbs before cutting down the tree. Wear chainsaw chaps and protective gear, including eyewear and earplugs if you use a chainsaw. Again, if you’re unsure about how to use this tool, this project may be one to skip.

The felling notch you make before you make the final cut will determine which way the tree will fall. The cut will be in a wedge or triangle, and the tree will fall from the highest point of the triangle. You can use this, as well as the process described above, to estimate where a tree will fall.

A tree branch should start to form roots in about three months. It can take about a year for a tree branch to develop roots strong enough to go in the ground. For best results, start several branches because, no matter how closely you follow instructions, they won’t all form roots. Compost any that aren’t thriving.
