"Cory and Colton arrived on the time schedule, did a survey on the apartment and quickly started moving the furniture. They were very professional and did the best they could to finish as early as possible."

"Dreamers moving company has been one of the greatest experience we've had while moving cross country. Especially their employees Sammy and Tony who have the greatest customer service experience. If there was a way to give more than 5 stars, I would."

"Awwww! It went very well there was a language problem in the beginning two gentlemen showed up but, We were struggling to communicate luckily my brother's girl is Latina and she translated until another person showed up. Overall these three men were absolutely awesome!! The were very professional and showed such great care in handling my junk Ha! No but, Honestly they were wondering and the price was very fair. The whole thing took two hours I was thinking maybe three but these Gentlemen were fast new how to use not only there equipment wow! I'd see one coming then here's the other guy and working so well together. So, in conclusion I've never experienced having to hire help much less moving things across State. Thanks to Angie's List I was able to get ahold of a Moving company Called "CHAPA'S" Mr. James, Took my call and stayed in constant contact with me from beginning to the very end now that's real service and care. So a HUGE THANK YOU!! To JOSE, AND FREDDIE AND CHRISTIAN ❤️ That's the team that made it happen and worked there butt's off sweating to death running back and forth carrying the most awkward thing, And just smiling and being so curtious, Professional and kind. Before they left they asked me several times is there anything else we can do to help you we unpack to. Hahaha! I can't say enough about this crew of movers well one more thing even though they didn't speak English that well one of the men did and they were all so funny making jokes while still getting it done they made me laugh so, But,More importantly they did there thing and got all of my things up two flights of stairs perfectly. I would hire CHAP'S MOVING COMPANY AGAIN! IN A HEARTBEAT!!!"

Moving questions, answered by experts

The size of the safe will determine the type of dolly that will work best for transporting your gun safe. You will need to ensure it is a heavy-duty appliance dolly made to move heavy items, such as appliances or pianos. Always check the weight of your safe beforehand so you can rent or buy the correct dolly that can withstand its weight.

You should consider hiring professional movers for moves that seem too daunting, dangerous, or involve large, heavy objects. The larger your home and the longer the distance, the more likely you are to need professional help. A moving service can take the hardest tasks off your plate and reduce the risk of personal injury. However, if you are only moving a few light items, you can save money by moving on your own and renting a truck. Keep in mind that a DIY move requires significant planning and time. A hybrid option is also available, where you hire movers just to lift and transport heavy items to your vehicle.

There are many places to get moving boxes, so it’s worthwhile to shop around and compare prices. Try big-box stores such as Walmart, as well as home improvement stores such as Lowe’s and The Home Depot. You can also try specialty places such as U-Haul or Office Depot. Finally, check online at Amazon or ask your friends or family if they have any spare moving boxes they could lend you.

The easiest way to move a shed is to roll it along a makeshift conveyor belt made of strong PVC pipes and a board. Alternatively, hiring professional movers who move sheds makes your shed-moving project as simple as making a call and writing a check.

You can move a pool table without taking it apart only if you’re moving it a short distance, like from one room to another, and with the help of several people or a professional moving company. But if you’re moving the pool table from one home to another, experts strongly advise you not to move it without taking it apart. If you leave it in one piece, you could risk not only your own personal safety, but also risk damage to the pool table itself. The bumpers could need to be realigned and the slate may have to be re-leveled if you try to move a pool table without taking it apart. In this case, the risk usually doesn’t outweigh the reward.
