"Oscar was always on time, communicated plans well and was open to seeing our vision for our flagstone patio and grass with sprinklers making an amazing side yard for our house"
"We played phone tag a few times and then it seems we did not get a return call, but possibly due to sprint dropping my messages and/or calls-- I later found out. But, we finally got in touch and set up the appointment. The guy who came over, Owner(?), was very nice and informative and offered a competitive price, so we set up the appointment to have them stain our patio cover. When the date arrived for the staining, the guys, that were going to do the actual staining, called to reschedule as they had run late on another job, which I understand that happens, but they didn't call until after they were 4 hours late. So, we rescheduled for the next day and they showed up to do the job. The two guys were very nice, but one had a fear of heights and was on his cell phone much of the time while the other did most of the work. They covered everything with tarp to avoid getting stain on our patio pavers and our brick, which I very much appreciated. The guy sanded off the ink stamps and other scuffs on the wood as the marks would have shown through the stain, they said. We had 3 estimates, and one company actually said they would not need to clean/sand the wood as it was new construction. So we're very happy they sanded off the marks on the wood before they stained it. After they completed the job, they had me review the final outcome. I told him everything looked good, but the stain on the 4 boards around the patio cover looked a little uneven/blotchy to me. He re-stained the 4 boards and they looked much better afterwards.
Overall we're very happy. We had 3 estimates, one was twice the amount and the other half the amount. So we figured we got what we paid for and are happy with it. They were very nice and professional and informative, despite the phone tag, rescheduling, and the re-staining. Yes, we would use them again. "
"I was pleasantly surprised by how well the project turned out. The finished project truly exceeded my initial expectations. The crews were friendly and courteous and did a wonderful job even in some very difficult weather conditions. They did a roof and outdoor patio addition to match my existing home, added recessed lighting, outdoor ceiling fans, expended the concrete patio, and installed stone wrapped columns. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and would hire them again for future projects."

"Brent was very helpful, professional and hands on from our first meeting through the completion of my new patio. We discussed how I intended to use the space as well as placement and maintenance. I am so happy that I can now spent more time in my yard. on the beautiful patio."
"We used Angieâ s online service to find a good power washing company to clean our backyard patios and pathways. We selected Melvin Barrettâ s company because of his high rankings and satisfied customer reviews. As soon as his company was selected, Melvin was quick to respond: To expedite things while he was busy on another job, he reviewed photos of our backyard to provide an estimate. We agreed to his reasonable estimate, and an appointment was agreed upon. Melvin & his Associate were friendly and professional. They did such a thorough cleaning of the flagstone patios that they looked new again. This job was completed from request to completion within 3 days (not counting the weekend), so turnaround was very quick. When we need more power washing, we will definitely call Melvinâ s company again."

"Got a few quotes and these guys came out on time and did a phenomenal job. I would definitely recommend using them and I’ll probably look at using them again on my patio cover. Great work!!!"
"The enclosure of our patio into a four seasons sunroom went well. I would have rated 5.0, but communication was lacking after the sale. There was a significant wait time after the sale, and no communication afterwards to update us on when the materials were expected. I had to initiate all communication. We were surprised that the project manager was never onsite after the initial drawings were done, but were very pleased with the subcontractors who actually did the installation. They did a great job and very nice and respectful! The sunroom is great! One recommendation is that we had our AC company install a dustless air conditioner. We had been advised by Champion that that it could be done before or after the sunroom installation. We had the AC installed before the sunroom which was definitely the right way to do it so that our sunroom wall/glass was not disturbed after it was installed."

A sunroom offers an additional indoor space to rest, dine, or host guests, all while inviting in as much sun as possible. Either built like an enclosed porch or a fully insulated home extension, a sunroom features floor-to-ceiling windows or screens that create an open, bright design while still remaining protected from the elements and bugs.
Yes, but ensuring the deck has a solid foundation with adequate footings is critical before building, as the weight of a sunroom will put significant pressure on the structure below. Even if your deck is properly constructed, it may not be able to handle the extra weight. While some basic, lightweight, prefabricated sunrooms can sit on a deck with a strong existing foundation without additional supports, in many cases, the foundation and joists will need reinforcement. It is always best to have a structural engineer perform an inspection to evaluate the deck's quality and structural integrity. A professional can help you decide if reinforcement is sufficient or if it's better to tear down the deck and start over.

When designing an attached greenhouse, several factors should be considered. These include the orientation and positioning of the greenhouse to maximize sunlight exposure, the structural integrity of the connection to the house, sufficient insulation to regulate temperature, proper ventilation for airflow, and adequate space for plants and pathways. If you’re restricted because of your budget, go with a simpler design to maximize the use of your money.
Yes, a screened-in porch will increase your property taxes because it has a foundation and is considered a permanent improvement to your land. The exact amount your taxes will go up depends on the value of your existing home, the value added by the screened-in porch, the size of the structure, your location, and more.
