"I chose Marcelino because of all the high ratings he received for his work. He lived up to the praise in both his work and treatment of me as a customer. His prices are very reasonable, he and his crew are on time and very professional. He not only treated me with patience and friendliness, but his work was excellent. In fact, he helped me figure out what I needed and did great designs for the work. One other thing that was very important to me is that other companies I quoted would have limits on what they did. So when I had specialized needs or little requests, they would say, "We don't do that." But Marcelino would do it. He did everything I needed, even small specialized things, and all completely professional. He went above and beyond. I hired him three times. First for my bedroom closet and office credenza. Then for a living room credenza, bathroom cabinets, kitchen roll-out cabinets and laundry room build out. Now, he is going to do my garage. I wouldn't use anyone else."

"On time, fast response, finished work is a little off. We paid for some replacement screens using the existing frames and a few windows to get solar screens. The replacement screens are all perfect. The solar screens donâ t fit at least one window- thereâ s a large gap where the screen is bowed out- enough to stick my hand through. It should have been obvious at installation. On another they broke a window and didnâ t say anything. I had happened to take a picture of that side of the house the day before for paint work or I wouldnâ t have known. I didnâ t call them on the errors or breakage so no opportunity to correct as we will just take care of it ourselves but Iâ m still disappointed. I wasnâ t even going to review but the automated review request wonâ t leave me alone."

(A story behind our privacy fence panels from a crazy neighbor lol) and he and his amazing crew knocked it out of the park! My husband and I have already asked for quotes on our future projects. "Based on the work that was done at my home between April 17, 2025 and April 21, 2025, I strongly recommend Jopat General Contracting (JPC) and in particular John Oke . JPC is based in Aubrey Texas (940–202–0103) and John is one of the three co-owners. I discovered JPC through a search on Angi. I wanted a recommendation for help in the next two days. John replaced three burned out LED light fixtures in our kitchen ceiling. Intricate wiring had to be sorted out and prepped before new LED light fixtures could be wired in. We also had multiple problems in our master bathroom requiring a diagnosis and replacement of a malfunctioning shower head and tub faucet. We also needed shelves for a corner of that bathroom. John showed up on time on three occasions and kept us informed with texts and verbal explanations. He had to make multiple trips to a Home Depot in Roanoke for needed supplies because of problems he discovered. There was no additional charge for those trips beyond the original estimate. I doubt he anticipated that multiple trips for supplies would be needed but he never tried to assess an additional charge. I've gone into this detail to explain why I feel like strongly recommending John and JPC. In short, I feel like the work was well done and reasonably priced and done efficiently with multiple problems diagnosed and fixed. Alan Laufman"

"I gave one of managers at HHI my punch list of items to be fixed. It included almost every spectrum of work except HVAC and plumbing. The manager actually BID the job, instead of quoting a price per the hour. This was extremely refreshing as I knew from the get go that ALL the work would be completed and there was no question of how much. I thought the amount agreed upon was fair. Two techs showed up to my house, on the scheduled day, at the scheduled time, and they quickly went to work, knocking out the easier items first and the buckling down on the more difficult. They finished all the work in a good amount of time and best of all, it was all done correctly and professionally. If you are in need of a handyman service, don't be alarmed by the lack of cost per hour listed. Some, who show this will in essence, sand bag you and you'll end up spending more money tha n if you went with HHI, in the first place. If you got this far, thanks for reading."
