"Trey’s team’s knowledge of what I wanted was excellent. They worked hard to get my sign designed the way I wanted, on time and at a very reasonable price. The small name signs for a project were perfect. I will use them again."

"Will was prompt in communication and scheduling. I called on him to help remove 4 oak trees in the back yard and smooth out the affected area. The day he came out he offered to remove some other wood on the property for a reasonable fee. Will had the equipment and help to get the job done right and for a fair price. Will is a solid worker and enterprising young business man that has earned my future business as our “tree-guy”."

"Absolutely the most professional approach to a job. They came prepared and finished in a timely manner. Cleaned up the job site and actually left it looking better than it was before they arrived. I can, without a doubt recommend this company."

"I was in need of someone to fix the water damage on my flooring, so I reached out to several vendors. After careful consideration, I decided to hire Nordak. From the beginning, they displayed utmost professionalism and patiently addressed all my questions and concerns. They provided me with a realistic timeline and quote for removing the old flooring and installing the new one. The level of detail in their work was impressive, and they executed the project flawlessly. What truly stood out was the hassle-free experience I had throughout the entire process, which is a rare occurrence. I was pleasantly surprised and extremely satisfied. Without a doubt, I will be hiring Nordak for any future projects."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Rabbits are remarkable jumpers, capable of leaping to impressive heights. Generally, they can jump up to 2 to 3 feet vertically, thanks to their strong hind legs and muscular build. This exceptional jumping ability isn't just for fun—it helps them escape predators and reach vegetation otherwise out of their reach. Their agility and power make them one of the animal kingdom's most agile jumpers, adapting their natural talents to navigate their environment with finesse.

Yes, in many cases, homeowners insurance covers the cost to repair or replace a fence. Home insurance policies typically protect your home and other structures on your property, which often includes fences. If the fence is damaged by a covered event, such as a storm, fire, or vandalism, your insurer may cover some or all of the cost. However, coverage does not extend to damage caused by natural wear and tear, owner negligence, insufficient maintenance, or improper installation.

Yes, a double fence can keep deer out of your yard by using the deer’s limited depth perception. For example, a 6-foot tall fence with another 4-foot fence a couple feet from the outer fence makes it look more difficult and unsafe for the deer to jump and land safely. You can even mimic the look of a double fence by using wire or a clothesline.

You’ll need to bury the garden fence about 1 foot underground. It’s tempting to save on materials by burying the fence just a couple of inches, but if you do so, determined pests will still be able to dig under the fence and access your plants. Burying your garden fence deep into the soil is an important step that allows you to attach a wire barrier to the fencing.

Burrowing animals (like voles, moles, rabbits, and gophers) can’t dig or chew through this wiring, meaning that you’ll be keeping your prized petunias or your robust veggie garden from being eaten.

Planting greenery on a fence can help achieve more privacy, whether it’s shrubs along a picket or chain link fence or rolls of faux greenery to help create a solid-colored backdrop beyond the fence line. You can also try adding more lattice or paneling across a fence so that there are fewer places where passing eyeballs can see in.
