"Dennis and crew are excellent. Great team work. Dennis did whatever he could to make us happy, efficient, fast delivery of vinyl flooring on their end that was needed for my floor so that they could come install the vinyl and remove the carpet. Kept in contact to make sure everything was going according to plan and no confusion. What he says is what he does. Very knowledgeable and much experience. Once he came into the bedrooms and master closet to measure, he knew off the top of his head the estimates needed and found the exact flooring in the blink of an eye. Other companies were dishonest and charging double or even triple than Super Floor Store. I am very happy with the job and with the service! Thank you Dennis!! We’ll do business again for sure!"

"Joe Brawner, Jr did do the job. He called me before it was finished being posted. He asked me where the job was. I told him.. He said it was outside his area, but that he could be here in about an hour or so. I told him what I needed, and he gave me a preliminary quote over the phone. I told him that the quote was within my budget and that if the in-person quote was also within my budget, I would like him to do the work., He said he would see me soon. He was here in just under an hour. He walked through my kitchen and bathroom and gave me a final estimate. Then, he proceeded to start working on my problems. When he went under the house, he found further problems that would add time & cost. He fixed & left what I asked him to. He did the job with minimal mess. He cleaned that up as well. He did such a great job, I will be sharing his card with anyone who needs a plumber."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

You have three options in terms of professionals who can draw up blueprints: a draftsperson, an architect, or a structural engineer. A draftsperson can sometimes draw up plans for new construction, but they more often work from approved plans for alterations or to provide 3D drawings. Architects are usually the best option for standard residential construction projects. Structural engineers might be necessary for custom home builds or for alterations that could affect your home’s structural integrity. Draftsmen cost the least of the three, followed by architects and then structural engineers.

You'll find Arts and Crafts homes across the country in varying styles. On the East Coast, bungalows and Tudor Revivals fill the Boston area through New Jersey. In the West, Mission-style homes incorporate terracotta shingles, white stucco siding, and rounded archways.

Yes, professionals will offer tailored solutions to fit architectural and personal style preferences.

Yes, designers collaborate with contractors and engineers to ensure a smooth construction process.

The most common scale for residential blueprints is 1/4 of an inch equals one foot. This scale is the most popular because it’s easier for everyone involved, from professionals to homeowners, to understand the building’s actual dimensions. Also, it allows blueprints to have the necessary details without cluttering the page.
