overall pleased. I had several local quotes for a fence repair. they were not the cheapest, but they were the cheapest professionals. would use again.
Second opinions from other contractors said the foundation was not laid properly and would have caused future problems. They also confirmed that the wall was not straight.
Since this was in our front side yard, it was important to us that the wall be straight. The owner agreed that this was not his best job and said he would make it right. After a week of no communication, we tore the wall down and will hire someone else to do the work right.
We paid the owner for 2 days of labor and the materials, but we can not, in good faith recommend him to anyone."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/lindale/kt-acker-enterprises-reviews-7838629.htm"},"position":8},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Green Bug","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"TX","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Marian F."},"reviewBody":"Things went well for several days until one of the workers crashed through the kitchen ceiling on Thanksgiving Day. This worker insisted that he could repair the hole (approximately 2 feet by 2 feet) as he was a "professional" with a background in dry wall repair. After several days of his repair it was obvious that he created more of a mess than a repair. Gino Springer, the CEO, was called in. Gino insisted that he, too, was a "professional" with a background in this type of repair and insured us that he could redo the initial repair with near perfect results. Because of the mess made by the first Green Bug employee, the ceiling needed to be sanded to remove the layers upon layers of ill-placed media packed onto the repair area. This created a cloud of fine silt which moved from the kitchen to the adjourning rooms requiring a professional cleaning service - paid for by Green Bug. Gino's redo of the first repair resulted a cracking drywall within 2 days. He called in a third person, someone with experience in "this type of work." This 3rd man seemed quite uninterested in the repair and left the job with a still noticeable flaw around 2/3 of the repair parimeter. Gino stepped in again saying that it just need a little more sanding and painting. He did more than this and actually moved from a ceiling nearly looking good back to a mediocre repair. The entire process lasted from Thanksgiving Day to New Year's Eve with visits by this crew nearly 3 times/week. Looking back, we should have insisted that we call in a true professional but Green Bug "didn't want to claim this accident to their insurance company." The final repair looks ok when the kitchen light shines directly on it but with natural lighting an undulation is seen in an area nearly 3 times bigger than the initial hole. (Was the thought here to smear stuff all over the ceiling so that the initial area of repair was not so obvious?) Needless to say, be warned. If you have some simple outside extermination - call these guys but I, for one, would not invite them into the house.

It was difficult to get a reply from their company when adjustments were needed. Mr. Ricky Pope finally did make adjustments but failed to finish out and honor the 15 year warranty. As far as I now know, they never have had an office at 1324 S Beckham St in Tyler, and now the phone numbers listed have been disconnected. We are now having to find another foundation repair service that is willing to correct the very considerable damage that has been done, with astronomical estimates.

overall pleased. I had several local quotes for a fence repair. they were not the cheapest, but they were the cheapest professionals. would use again.
I live in Tyler, TX and Sharman's Sewing Center told me that they could not repair my machine because they couldn't get the parts my machine needed. I contacted Randy Cole and asked him if I could meet him somewhere and give him my machine to repair, that I was coming to Dallas for an event....
Repairs were done at vacation home so we weren't actually there when the work was done. We were afraid of getting an inflated estimate and bill, but we were pleasantly surprised at the quick response and reasonable repair bill. We will use them again for any repairs and will request annual...

I submitted an extensive positive review of East Texas Foundation Repair back in 2014. When I attempted to contact them recently for follow up service, I received no response or reply. I am assuming they are either no longer in business or have no intention of following up on previous work.
The men showed up late and did not bother to call. When they did show up, the job seemed to start out good, however, the wall was not straight at all. They did not use a plumb line to create a straight line, therefore the concrete foundation was not straight, nor the concrete block wall. The...

"BilBil and his crew were excellent. Plants had to be removed in our flowerbeds. Huge holes had to be dug. The dirt was taken out in layers and was replaced back exactly as it came out. Our plants were put back perfectly. Our porch had sunk enough that our sidewalk and porch no longer matched, but when they raised and stabilized our columns the porch and sidewalk once again were level!! Once the crew had cleaned up we couldn’t tell they had been there. Everyone was very courteous and wanted to do a good job. We are extremely pleased."

"STAY AWAY!!!!! They will take your money and not do the job. They are bad news. They are not with Home Adviser or BBB. They boast it, but are not any part with them. Owner came to house, walked job with me, I explained, I needed this done very quickly because I had sod coming. I also told him I wanted no "games" he said he understood. Crew showed up, no owner ever, dug trenches, and said they had to leave @ 330 (Friday) due to a spouse party. I said no issue, see you tomorrow, they agreed. NO SHOW, NO COMMUNICATION, only by me EVER...to see where my 850.00 went. The owner promised he would be there Monday to finish. No call no show....now 3 to 4 days have passed, no rain.....Tuesday rain, owner said the rain is the issue.... I almost forgot...the excuses, in the hospital, in jury duty..."my dog ate my homework" I told owner, never raised my voice, never argued, told him either they finish, or fired.....he dropped 2 guys and a truck at my house all day. They dug a 7' trench, 1' deep and then waited all day, for owner to answer his phone. I talked with them for about thirty minutes while waiting for owner. They said this was typical of owner, chasing jobs, chasing money, not paying them, not answering his phone....they were very frustrated, imagine me? With my sod dying on the skids, I fired this company, hired the first company that contacted me. While his crew was waiting all day for him. This new company showed up, with real crew, real equipment, a real plan, and finished by end of day. While they were working, owner showed up, in a car?????? no material, with more excuses....I approached him, told him he was fired, for lack of work, no communication, and basically a snake oil sales man... he gave me the stunned look, tried to talk, told him, I didn't want to hear it. I also told him, he should do the right thing and give me half of my money back for not doing the job, but did dig a trench. I wanted his guys to get paid. He agreed to pay me, but then all the flood of lies came out........first he text me and started threatening me ( I have all the texts if anyone wants to see them) then he agreed again to pay but give him time. I'm a fair guy, some times way to fair for guys like this, said he could have until Monday. He was a no show on Monday, waited for any communication, none....So I text him, this is when he tells me he's in Tyler (meeting was in Hurst???) and If I can wait he will pay....I was like, this is so childish over 900 bucks....I said fine......next meeting no show????? again no communication, so I text him, this is where he says to me...I have your money in my pocket, but I'm in jury duty???????? and he actually sent me a bogus summons....at this point, my money was burned from him chasing jobs, with other peoples money.....so I told him, I'm done, my only recourse is to keep posting the truth on this company. This is the exact events that took place, at no time did I get mad, raise my voice, threaten = zero....on the other hand...he lies, threatened, just bad business owner...I have all communications, all texts, all emails for anyone to see if this company tries to counter what I'm saying...its a 100% accurate DO NOT USE THEM! YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

If foundation problems are not fixed, not only do repairs eventually become very costly, but it can lead to structural damage to the house above. Eventually, if the foundation problems are allowed to persist, the foundation walls can cave in or collapse. That’s after other issues like flooding and mold have likely been allowed to develop. Although not all cracks are structural problems, some can be and even if they start out small, they can develop into major problems. The earlier foundation problems are discovered and fixed, the lower the cost to repair will likely be.
Yes, foundation repairs are worth the cost at any stage to avoid a dangerous living condition. A failed foundation can lower the value of your home by up to 20%. Whether it’s the smallest problem like a thin crack less than ⅛-inch wide, a horizontal crack, a crack letting water flow through, or a wall bowing inward, repairing foundation problems as soon as possible is worth the cost. Sometimes a temporary fix can be applied until you have the budget to completely fix the problem, but the longer the problems persist, the more costly repairs may be.
The most common first signs of foundation issues include:
Cracks in the foundation walls that grow
Signs of moisture or water leaking through cracks in the foundation
Standing water in the basement
Sagging floors or walls
Cracked walls in upper floors
Doors and windows that don’t close properly anymore
Foundation repairs cost about $5,000, on average. Typically, prices range from $2,200 to $7,800, depending on the type and extent of repairs needed. Cost factors include foundation type, home size, soil stability, accessibility, and the ultimate cause of the problem and what methods and materials are required to fix it.
If you’re noticing signs of foundation issues, the first step to fixing a foundation problem is to hire a foundation repair inspector. They will determine the problem, the cause, and the severity before recommending a course of action to repair the foundation. The method for fixing foundation problems depends on the problem and what options are available. A few possible solutions include:
Epoxy injections
Mudjacking
Piers made of steel or concrete
Jacks
Hydraulic piers
Carbon or steel reinforcement strips
Waterproofing materials
