At Precision Pools Inc., our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Our team is committed to meeting those needs. We welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service. \nAt our core, we design and construct custom outdoor poolscapes that exceed our customers expectations. We have over 40 years experience in the pool business in this area, and a dedicated team that follows through on those expectations.\nWe work on in-ground gunite pools, in ground vinyl liner pools, and outdoor living structures. We can clean and maintain inground pools or pool/spa combinations whether vinyl liner or plaster. Unfortunately, we do not maintain or service above ground pools or stand alone hot tubs. We replace vinyl liners when needed, but we do not construct in ground vinyl liner pools. \nCall today for a quote.

"He was very and friendly, offered to show Liability Ins but we did not ask him for it. He did most of what we had asked him to do but we added a tree in our daughters yard next door and though he was asked to take it down, he only trimmed it and added $200. The work was satisfactory but felt the price a little high for the overall job."

Woodworking questions, answered by experts

Some states require carpenters to be licensed to perform forms of carpentry, such as framing. The license requires a certain amount of experience and to pass an examination. In states that don’t require carpenters to be licensed, they must be licensed as a contractor if they work independently rather than solely as a subcontractor under a licensed builder. Use Angi’s contractor licensing tool to find out whether a potential carpenter is licensed in your state.

Carpentry is a skilled trade and requires many years of experience to acquire the skills necessary to do the job efficiently and correctly. Because every home requires a carpenter at some stage of the building process, carpenters are typically in high demand. The higher the skill level, the higher the hourly rate the carpenter can charge.

On average, the cost to hire a carpenter ranges from about $75 to $100 per hour, depending on the type of carpentry, location, size of the job, and skill level of the carpenter. Get quotes from at least three carpenters in your area to determine the best price for your specific project.

Yes, Corian® and other solid surface countertops can be cut with standard woodworking tools like a circular saw or a jigsaw, but using the correct blade is crucial for the best results.

The recommended blade is a tungsten carbide-tipped blade, often called a solid-surface planer or triple chip grind blade. This type of blade is hard enough to cut through the material effectively. For a jigsaw, a fine-tooth down-cutting blade should be used.

It is important to note that a diamond blade is not necessary. Diamond blades are designed for harder materials like natural stone, concrete, or brick, and Corian is not a natural stone.

Using blades designed for wood is not recommended as they can cause microfractures that weaken the countertop's edges. While a tungsten carbide blade provides a much cleaner cut, the resulting edge will still be rough and must be sanded and smoothed to prevent microfractures from developing over time.

Joists do distribute their load to beams, but they don’t sit on top of the beams. Instead, home builders nail or screw the joists directly to the beams such that the end of the joist butts up against the edge of the beam. Beams can sit on other beams for support, but you’ll never see a joist sitting on top of a beam or another joist.
