"Service was prompt and professional but, be sure this is what you want before you do it.  It's hard to tell exactly what it's going to look like and, after it was done, I wished I'd gone with new countertops.  I'm also lousy picking colors.  That's not the contractor's fault.  That's mine.  The kitchen definitely looks better but I think I would have done better to get new countertops.

A minimum overhang of 10 to 12 inches is generally recommended for countertop or island seating to provide enough legroom. For increased comfort, an overhang of 15 to 18 inches is ideal, allowing for more space and a relaxed experience.
