"The work I contracted for was completed in October, 2017 and I paid on time the amount asked for. Mr. Chavarria promised the Certificate of Compliance and on Oct. 14, 2017 told me that the engineer has already come to inspect the work and has submitted the paper work to Windstorm Ins. Assoc. Since I have called several times (12's). I keep receiving excuses that the engineer is very busy, the paperwork take time, the engineer has been out of the country, etc. The bottom line is that I do not have the Certificate of Compliance and I will be having problem with my Windstorm Insurance. I really trusted this company, but at this point I do not think they are worthy of my trust. Be careful when dealing with them."

No, you don’t need to wet concrete to cut it, particularly if you are using a dry-cutting blade. However, adding some water can help cut down on concrete dust. If you’re using a wet-cutting blade, then yes, you need a constant stream of water on your cutting piece while you’re cutting. 

Yes, you can use a Dremel to cut pavers, but you’ll need a masonry cut-off wheel and a Dremel that accepts a 3 1/2-inch cutting wheel. Slowly run the masonry cut-off wheel along your cut line, and then continue making shallow passes. Once the cut is about 1/8 inch deep, you can drive a chisel into the center of it to complete the cut.

The project could take anywhere from one to five das, depending on the extent of the removal. Capping a gas line can be done on the same day, whereas completely removing a fireplace and chimney can span several weeks. Talk to your pro about the timeline and potential obstacles, like fireplace material, location, and potential structural issues.

Once your concrete is broken down into chunks, it is time to remove it. The easiest way to do this is to hire a concrete hauler or junk removal service—however, this is also the most costly option.
