We are a one stop installation and materials sales fence company that installs everything from wooden decks, wood fences to stucco walls, rock walls, and brick walls as well as electronic gates, and access controls. We install chain link fences and ranch fencing. D&C Fence will entertain and design or build just about any fence imaginable. One thing that sets us apart is our willingness to tackle any type of job, small or large. We handle simple residential gate repairs to the largest commercial and industrial jobs. "At first, I was very disappointed with the result. The boards were crooked, the fence was not plumb, and the concrete that was placed in the holes to support the posts was a total mess. Howver, I contacted Mr. Crossland in the Corpus office. This is one man that GETS it! He listened. He didnt make excuses. He simply handled it. Keep in mind, I was angry and highly skeptical. I have dealt with one bad contractor after another & was prepared for yet another let down. Mr. Crossland maintained open communication, he let me vent and frankly, I said some very harsh, albeit truthful, things. A week later i had the beautiful fence I paid for! They replaced the warped boards, fixed the concrete mess & even added a railing "cap" along the top for no additional cost. It looks awesome! There are SOO many companies out there that could learn alot from D&C fence's commitment to customer service! I gave them a B because the first 6 months were so stressful and it took a few times before Mr Crossland stepped in. But the bottom line is this is a professional company that actually cares about customers!"

We are a small company the consists of only three employees. We normally do all the work required on a jobsite unless a third party is required for other services we don't offer. We except most methods of billing procedures. Materials must me purchased by customer needed for the job. Customer will only be charged for labor or special materials mentioned in the job contract!

There are many pros and cons to vinyl and composite fencing. Both fencing types offer longer lifespans than wood fencing, with some notable advantages. Whether one is better for you will depend on a few factors. Composite is better if you prefer recycled materials, while vinyl is extremely easy to clean. 

Also, consider the disadvantages: vinyl can be more expensive, while composite fencing fades during the first six months.

Since wood is weaker when installed horizontally versus vertically, a horizontal fence is prone to sagging. You can prevent this drooping from happening by building a sturdier fence. Use softwoods that are more stable, such as cedar and redwood, or denser hardwoods for your fence materials. If you can’t afford these pricey materials, use thicker two-by-six pressure-treated pine boards or shorten the span the fence boards have to cover by installing more posts.

Corrugated metal is a strong, long-lasting material. A corrugated metal fence will typically last several decades, and the metal panels themselves may last for 40 to 60 years. The main thing you should be concerned about is the fence posts. Wood fence posts will last about five years if you purchase them untreated or about 15 years if you treat them after installation. Keep an eye on your posts and look out for insect damage and rot.

Considering that certain types of glass are bulletproof, glass has the capacity to be exceptionally durable and resistant to breaking.
