No question about it, Deck-O-Art is an excellent hardscape contractor. My project included a completely new drainage system for my backyard that ties into the pool deck. This drainage project solves a decades old water penetration issue at my house. Phase 2 was a complete and total renovation of my 40,000-gallon pool, including deck equipment, electrical, etc. Finally, my circular driveway was renovated from pea gravel to beautiful tile pavers, that included concrete dividers that really make it pop. The final result was so outstanding, that I hired Deck-O-Art to renovate a second pool and outdoor kitchen at our country getaway home. I thought that they couldn't beat what they constructed at my main house, but I was wrong. It is simply beautiful, and the new upsized outdoor kitchen is fantastic. You just can't go wrong with Art Manase and his team at Deck-O-Art. They are craftsmen without equal

Cesar and his firm first build me a 2 ton sliding gate across my driveway and then I hired them to build me a 10‘ x 20‘ awning over my back porch. Both pieces of work are sturdy and have performed without any drawbacks in the eight months since I’ve had them installed. For both jobs, they were in and out in a couple of days or less. They cleaned up well after themselves after the work was completed and I look forward to doing business with them again in the future

In about 15 minutes, he assessed the situation, gave us a straightforward price with everything that price included AND used the auger to clear the wash rag from our toilet! (Please, no questions as to how it got there!) LOL! He is an experienced plumber. He was wearing a mask and he covered his shoes with booties before entering our home. I called the business owner on that fateful day when I and my household were baking in the sweltering triple digit Texas heat because our AC had stopped working. (We hadn't had any decent sleep because of the heat, mosquitoes and flies). I described the problem, and sent pictures per his request. In a flash, he diagnosed the problem and we scheduled an appointment. He gave me a quote and was willing to work with me. The business owner was humane, understanding and professional. "It went great -- from my initial contact with John Lewis all the way to the end of the job when t Steve and Guy did the repair work. My aluminum 'Metals USA Elitewood Ultra Series' patio cover was damaged by hail back in March 2016 at which time I contacted TexSun Exteriors to give me a quote for the repair, John Lewis came out, assessed the damage, made some great suggestions on improving the current design which had some deficiencies and provided me a quote to repair the cover, and my roof too. Due to various factors which I will not go into, I waited until mid 2017 to act on getting the repair work done. I contacted John again and asked him to come back out and update the quote on the cover which he did. Since (1) Texsun Exteriors quoted the original installation in 2007 and (2) considering I was most impressed with its representative back then even though they did not get the job, and (3) considering Texsun has a great rating on Angieslist, I chose to have Texsun do the work without getting any other quotes. In effect, I trusted them and they proved to be most trustworthy. The actual installation went great! John worked with me on getting the job scheduled as soon as possible and Steve and Guy came out to do the work. These guys worked together and did what I consider an excellent job. I was most pleased. if you have patio cover work to be done, or need Patio Shade Structures, Patio Covers, Patio Enclosures or Awnings, I highly recommend you consider Texsun Exteriors. They will do you a great job. I can also highly recommend the maintenance-free, 'Metals USA Elitewood' aluminum covers that Texsun sells. They come with a lot of options and look really nice. I am most happy with mine and there is no maintenance with it as with wood covers!

"Overall, the project looks good. Where they missed the mark was in relationship to the cleanup. I asked them to come out and pick the remaining concrete and dirt left over from the project. Responded that it wouldn't be until the following week. If I would have waited that long, my grass where the concrete and dirt was left behind would have killed it. In addition, the crew left dirt piled up against my A/C unit where it had leaked into it. Overall, it took me only an hour and three large buckets of dirt and concrete to clean up, but it seems that this should have been part of their efforts. Spoke with Alex and was disappointed in his lack of response / urgency in getting the issue resolved.
