One of the nearby roofers, who also suffered damage, temporarily covered the skylight with a tarp. However, it would take weeks to get a new skylight dome. After two weeks, I found Skylight Solutions in Dallas, who manufacture skylight domes and ship them nationwide. Despite not being very close, they were within an hour's drive, which was fortunate. Their professional inspected the skylight with the tarp still on, ensuring the house remained dry. As the skylight's size was not standard, Skylight Solutions had to make a custom dome. A few weeks later, the same professional installed the new dome, offering a more secure installation option, which I declined due to budget constraints from our recent house move. Nonetheless, the new dome looks great both from the outside and inside, reflecting the quality product and installation from Skylight Solutions, evident in their 4.9 out of five rating."

The brightness was a little much for me at first, so he put filters in which softened the light. I would recommend solatubes to add natural lighting to a room. Juston is awesome, he guided us through the process from picking the right shingles to our much better gutters he made the process easy and fast. Juston keep us in the loop the whole way, I never had to call him for an update or asking for anything twice. He is a total pro. When it came time to do the actual job, Juston and crew were prompt, polite and again fast. They got the job done in under two days. Plus they make sure to not leave anytime for me to clean up. No trash at all, no nails in the law or anything like that. These guys are great. We have a better than new roof and I could not recommend them more.
