"Excellent. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with Southern Air Mechancial LLC for my Air conditioning service needs. Out of habit, I had been using another vendor who recently told me in the last 10 days that my unit was oversized for my duct work, that it was going to take 6 hours to fix it, and was about to sell me a part with installation and labor that would have cost $1400. The tech said it would break in a year and the owner basically tried to sell me a new AC unit. Got a little suspicious after asking if my unit could be adjusted since it was a variable speed down to a 3 ton and the owner said, "well, let me send my tech again". I called Southern Air and spoke to Clint, the owner. I had purchased the unit 7 years ago and without hesitation, Clint visited with his technician, and replaced the part that was a known problem with my manufacturer. He warrantied the part and was back out in two days and had the system cooling within 2 hours. I will only use Southern Air Mechanical and now know how trustworthy they are and what excellent service they provide. "The overall process went very well. Like most home projects, this turned out to be a much more complicated installation process requiring the team to return several times to "get it right." Throughout the process, I was assured that the company would not rest until the system pressure was inside the manufacturers specs. Grant AC added a new return duct and ultimately a new supply duct to achieve the desired results. All of this additional work was included in the original quoted price. I select Grant AC for several reasons: 1) good reviews; 2) prompt response for a quote; and 3) confidence that they knew what they were doing. The last reason distinguished Grant from other companies. The person giving the quote looked over all aspects of the job and noted the difficult aspects of the install (cramped space for the coil/furnace; odd supply lines; sloppy previous install)."

"I asked him to come check out the breaker box to check out the wiring i had suspicion about, before i arrived he was already installing a copper ground rod that he said I needed. He installed it with out my permission and it ran me an extra $125 dollars that i was not anticipating. The actual work and only thing i wanted him to do was to check the wiring inside the breaker box.... With my permission he installed the 20 amp breaker for $80... which i think is over priced. So over all I was not pleased because they came in and starting working with out me instructing them on what i wanted them to look at and what services to perform. Before i could even tell them they already had the bill ready and just needed my payment, what could i do when the work is done and they just need my credit card information? I feel like i was taken advantage off. I will not use them again, because i felt like they just wanted to get the work done and leave as soon as possible with out giving me the time of day to explain my concerns."

"Stuart is very knowledge about HVAC units and tries to repair versus replacement.  Extraordinary customer relations.

 Also scheduled adding new insulation.  His work is reliable.   We had a few hiccups on the timeline of getting replacement unit installed due to call load. We plan to use him for normal maintenance going forward.
