"Aldos Pools did an amazing job. I was only going to re-tile the pool but after talking to Aldos They gave me a reasonable price to re-plaster nd it turned out so nice! I’m very happy we did it. I definitely recommend Aldos. You won’t be disappointed."

"They turned what was started looking like a pond/swamp into a beautiful pool again. They reached out and set up an appointment asap, then came back to ensure the new filters were doing their job and not causing pool pumpto overwork. They were punctua fo scheduled appointments l and quick to resound to emails and calls. They were also very patient and took the time to address my questions and concerns."

"CHW was very responsive to my claim (swimming pool circulation pump failed). However, CHW was unable to find a local service provider. After 10 days, my pool was experiencing an algae bloom and I needed to do something quickly. I found a service provider who fixed the pump (bad capacitor) for $50...just a few dollars more than the $45 that would have been out of pocket for a CHW agent to fix the pump."

"Tuffy was very professional and always answered phone calls or e-mails promptly. Drew was the supervisor on our job and he was there almost daily and took care of everything. We also had them put in a swimming pool too. This was the second pool build we've done in the last five years. They were far superior compared to the first company we used. The excavation site was kept clean at all points of the construction. Landscaping was completed yesterday and everything looks spectacular. We can not say enough good things about Tuffy and his crews. We would highly recommend them to anyone."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

The small lines on the tape measure either indicate inches, fractions of an inch, or centimeters and millimeters. On the imperial unit side (aka the inches side), the longest lines indicate inches, followed by the next shortest lines that indicate a half-inch, and then the quarter, eighth, and sixteenth-inch. On the metric side, the lines break down meters, centimeters, and millimeters.

When planning for land survey costs, you should consider the following elements as major contributors to the overall cost:

  • Size of your property in terms of acres or square feet

  • Complexity of the terrain in terms of hills, elevation changes, rocks, water, and other features

  • Type of survey you need (boundary survey, topographic survey, or a combination of survey types)

  • Distance traveled for the professional surveyor

Grading complexity, debris removal volume, equipment, labor, and permits determine expense levels.

Soil testers and licensed excavators are often the professionals you hire if you need a perc test. In some cases, structural engineers will also be able to conduct the test for you. In many municipalities, you’ll need your professional on-site to dig and fill the holes with water, as well as a representative from your local building department or health department. That representative is the individual who will determine whether your test passes or fails.

If you can’t find any records online, you’ll need to contact your county clerk’s office to do further research. They should have property records on file, or can at least point you in the right direction of who to contact. You can also speak with your neighbors about when their houses were built because they were likely built around the same time.
