The job was recommended out by Poolie and the contractor did an excellent job.

POOLIE will ruin your water, making it unsafe to swim in, then tell you to drain it. The reason they use the "One-Price-Fits All" sales pitch is because they use the cheaper chlorine tablets in your pool other than liquid chlorine. The tabs contain Cyanuric Acid (CYA) and in a couple of months, the CYA level gets much too high, which makes the chlorine tabs much less efficient. The only way to get rid of CYA is to drain the pool. Also, they skipped my pool 4 times in the last 3 months, almost starving out the new pump they installed in February. I took a water sample of my green pool water to Leslie's last week, and ONLY ONE chemical was in balance. I looked back over 10 months of POOLIE'S service reports, using Leslie's guidelines. My pool chemistry was NEVER completely in balance. Leslie's report said the water was unsafe and corrosive. No wonder I need to drain my pool and replaster it. POOLIE just bought out SCOTCH POOLS in November. Former SCOTCH POOLS customers should BEWARE!

I cancelled my service with them because of their shady business practices. They would send me random invoices for repairs I never requested and were never discussed with me. They continue to charge my card month after month (now 5 months after I cancelled) even though no services were provided. I was refunded by my bank after calling out their fraud, but it was still a huge inconvenience. This company is definitely not to be trusted.

I hired them for a month of service(3 cleanings), because the salesman swore to me that he could get my pool in order without draining and scrubbing it. It was agreed that the first technician would help me remove the pool cover, which they did not and also tried to charge me for a cleaning after they showed up and just left. They have never showed up the day that they should have, besides the first time when they just left. It was also agreed upon by the original salesman that they would use a pump so the gunk at the bottom of the pool would just not be sucked into my filter and then recycled back into the pool once they left, which the last tech., who I did not request, did not even bring. So as of right now, I've only had two cleanings and simply requested a partial refund for the last, which they have ignored and have not responded back to me with! DO NOT PAY UP FRONT IF YOU DO GO WITH THEM!! Their sales team does not communicate at all with their field service team, which I believe created all these issues and confusion, but that is not my fault!!

An unsolicited review of POOLIE pool services: I am not sure where I got the name of Poolie pool services, but what a find!!! This company was one of the best companies I have ever dealt with, the immediate response to any of my emails and/or messages, the quality of the work, the professionalism of all of the employees, the courtesy of their workers are all reasons that I felt compelled to write this review. Jason, great guy and took care of every single concern that I had. Justin, very good worker and would let me know every detail of what was going on Paul, just installed a new valve for me and was quick, efficient, and very courteous Poolie quoted the resurfacing of my in ground 22,000 pool as well as replacement of a bad skimmer and gave me the best price of all of the quotes, they did the work fast and efficient, cleaned up after every visit and maintained the pool even after the pool was complete and full of water to make sure all was as I wanted it. I rarely do reviews, in fact, this may be my first unsolicited one I have ever done, but this company has really proved to be a great find, hope you will consider them, I doubt you will be disappointed. Patrick and Chris were extremely knowledgeable about all of the pool repairs that my pool needed. They even called out things that were a problem seven years that are still an issue, but we gave up on fixing. They were so great, I hired them to perform the regular weekly maintenance, too. I'm looking forward to a great summer in the pool thanks to Poolie!
