"We had an old shower, complete with mold on the grout between the tiles, slippery tiles in the floor and cracks in the glass next to the door. Five Star Bath Solutions came in and specified how they would fix the shower. They set a date to start work. Then they moved it up a week, so they were finished on the day they had expected to start. They ripped out all the old tile and the backer boards only to discover a nest of termites! I called in termite people, but Five Star never quit working. They installed new studs next to each damaged stud, filled in the spaces with insulation. They installed a non-slip floor, then new backer boards and marble -look surface. Then they installed a pressure-balanced valve, two grab bars where we wanted them, two niches for shampoo, etc., and a teak fold-down seat for washing feet. Then they put in custom made glass enclosing the shower. We had to wait 24 hours for the silicone caulk to cure. Itâ s wonderful. Itâ s beautiful, and itâ s non-slip!(more important as we age!) I recommend these folks to anyone. Theyâ ll make you happy."

"Hired MetroplexPro Builders for bathroom remodel to ADA compliance. Demolition left a large hole ready for the curb less shower. Waited 2 weeks for permit that should have been issued before work started. I think the manager was unqualified in project management and everything was on the fly. Part 1 of the project handled by a crew probably including day workers. Found hole punched through bathroom/bedroom wall not mentioned until I saw it. Later had more skilled labor but with little attention to detail. Spacers stuck between tiles broken off but above tile level. Painting not properly masked leaving paint on floor tiles, door hinges and lock. paper was stuffed in the door lock. The door edge was rough needing sanding and repainting. Cabinet doors and drawers painted shut, glue on floor tiles is hard to remove. I have photos of it all. Hallway / bathroom transition not equally level, bad for wheelchair access. I am still cleaning up their work."
