They replaced all the old grass and weeds, front and back yards, with sod; replaced all the old plants and shrubs in the front and back flower beds with the new ones we had requested; put in a 4 station sprinkler system; replaced the old retaining wall with new limestone blocks; and put in limestone trim around three of our front yard trees. "After getting several bids, Mark Morales, owner of Dream Yards came in with the most reasonable quote with lots of ideas to create a one-of-a-kind yard that is now the envy of my neighbors. He worked closely with me to capture all of my wishes and to incorporate them into the design. He allowed me to visit the nursery with him to select plants and to find special plants that were not available. As plantings were installed, we kept adding more to get the lush and full look that I desired. This included a fan palm, mountain laurels, several fruit trees, etc. Due to weather delays, the project took 3 weeks, but he had workers there every day (even in the rain). They were careful to clean up the sidewalk and street each night before they left and they were very friendly and respectful. Mark kept me updated on schedule through texts and onsite visits. He brought in specialists for the lighting and stonework to make sure these sub projects were professional. When it was discovered that one of the new irrigation drip lines was punctured, he had it repaired early the next morning. Multiple change orders were added to the original quote as new ideas came up. Mark fully explained each additional cost during our final settlement and tried to hold expenses down. I would suggest that you discuss any extra work / upgrades before implementation to better understand the costs associated with those changes. Other than that, I appreciated the fact that Mark did not expect any payments until the work had been performed. Many others won't even start a project without upfront payments. This made me feel very comfortable. All work was completed on 3/27/2020. Irrigation system has 5-8 year warranty; lighting has a 10 year warranty, and plantings have 90 days. I will update review after 90 days to cover any follow-up or warranty work. I highly recommend Mark Morales and Sprinkler Management Dream Yards for all of your landscaping needs."

"When I first moved into my house I had mud in my backyard, Lawrence from Design matters came and installed some Bermuda grass, put in a brick patio to square off the little cement slab that came with my house. Also gave me a pathway with flagstone slabs and rocks for my garden areas surrounding my patio. Took about 2 days to finish up everything and was very impressed not only with the overall result, but also their professionalism, and attention to detail. Would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an outdoor oasis!"

"Bernardo did excellent work. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. He was very pleasant to work with in discussing the job details. He originally referred me to his brother for landscaping project but since Jose was busy he took that project on in addition to the driveway extension. He and his crew showed up usually around 9:30a to begin work daily. They were ALL very hard workers and all very polite and pleasant. They installed a beautiful garden bed in our backyard and he subcontracted an irrigation guy to add irrigation. They went above and beyond cleaning up some trimming that were in existing beds to utilize extra mulch that was left over. They hauled off all the old sod and brought in fresh soil as well. The driveway project came out very nicely with a limestone border on the edge and a french drain installed beneath. Concrete was 5" depth and appropriate rebar was used as well. I was very pleased with Bernardo's professionalism and the job he did. He made sure everything even small details were done right and he and his crew did not cut corners. His quote on the driveway was very reasonable and accurate to what I paid. I would definitely recommend Bernardo for any concrete work you need to have done. We will be using him again in the future."
