"I was a bit skeptical based on some of the reviews that I read but am very happy with the work Gomez Landscaping did; keeping in mind that I am a very critical, analytical person. My neighbor actually got the two quotes (this one being the better quote by about $300) as we were splitting the cost. We had flooding in the shared space between our houses and on the other side of the fences in our backyards (that are next to each other). Misael came out and completed a thorough review and provided a plan and quote on the spot (with formal documents following the next day). We quickly made our decision and moved forward. The very next day we paid the 50% deposit and scheduled the work (about 2 weeks out). The team arrived on time and immediately began work. They worked VERY hard - as our "soil" is basically rock and debris from Pulte when they built the house. They had to do quite a bit of pickaxing to get through enough to lay the pipe. The drain boxes look professional. The black rock is clean and aesthetically pleasing (especially when wet - so pretty). I am excited to see the boxes and drain in action when it rains next. I am already planning the next project and will be reaching out once I am ready to discuss."

Mason was able to give me a prompt estimate, which included fixing the piece that had fallen, as well as replacing some existing posts (so the rest wouldn't blow down next time). He fit us in as quickly as possible, given that unseasonably rainy weather was slowing him down. "I hired this company to do adjustments to existing piers the previous owners had had installed, per the advisement of a structural engineer we hired to inspect our property. We also needed significant drainage help due to water backing up into our house and flooding our master bedroom when the heavier storms blew through. We had french drains and 7 catch basins installed to remedy the water issues, and they adjusted 4 piers and installed 3 new ones. They were not the cheapest estimate we received, but Chris sat with me and explained every detail of the scope of work, and made sure I understood everything it entailed. I would have hired them based on customer service alone, but I ultimately chose this company because they were the only company that even offered a warranty takeover on the existing piers they adjusted. The only reason I docked half a star was because on the second day, the crew was working until it was very dark outside, by flashlight, and it seemed they were just in a hurry to get home for the evening (frankly, I don't blame them!) As a result, the catch basins were covered up and another part was not sufficiently graded to allow for optimal drainage, so it pooled in one area. Once the company was notified of the issue, they sent a crew back out to remedy the issue and we haven't had an issue since!
