"if you are lookig for a high quality craftsmanship for any of your household projects, including demolition, rebuilding, remodel, floorin, granite, marble, panting and electrical, cabinets, lights stands and more. We would highly recomend Armando Gomez and his crew from A A D G Enterprises LLC. We contracted him for painting, electrical, new lights and exterior fans, they also replaced the light bulbs that we could not reach, as well as making recommendations for additional projects that would further enhance our property several of which we plan to implement with him. we were greatly impressed with the conscientiousness of Armando and his crew. They were respectful, skilled, thorough in the overall job was done wit attention to detail. It was obvious to us that the standards that they had set for themselves was very high. It shower It showed in the results of their work, it was well above and beyond the regular standards. They paid close attention to all the details that made their work superior in every way. We were extremely pleased with the results of the work that was done, and we weill be contracting with Armando for future projects. it took about 6 days to do the whole job"

"I hired Salazar Construction to paint the exterior of my house. They do excellent work. They show up every day and on time, work all day, leave no sign at the end of the day that they were even there. Every little thing that needed attention was taken care of. Meticulous work, great attention to detail. Mr. Salazar and Mo were courteous and friendly and they are now my go to people for everything. Best work I've ever had done. Beyond happy with their work. Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Yes, staining or sealing a cedar deck or fence is highly recommended to extend its lifespan, typically by five to 10 years. While cedar is naturally resistant to mold and mildew, it can still fall victim to moisture, sun exposure, and rot over time. Applying a treatment creates a protective shield that helps prevent splintering, fading, and decay, preserving the wood's strength and appearance. A combination stain and sealer often provides the best protection, as it soaks into the wood grain rather than just sitting on top. This offers superior defense against UV damage and rot and lasts longer than a sealer alone. To maintain the wood's natural look, consider using a near-translucent stain. You should plan to reapply the stain or sealer every two to three years.

The need for a topcoat on a painted deck depends on various factors, primarily the type of paint used and your desired level of protection. Many premium deck paint formulations are self-sealing, eliminating the necessity for an additional topcoat. These paints often have built-in additives that substantially protect against moisture, UV rays, and everyday wear and tear.

The number of coats you need to apply when whitewashing a surface depends on how opaque you want the final product to be. If you're going for a transparent, barely there look, a single coat or two may suffice. For fuller coverage, you'll want to use multiple coats. Another option is to use a less diluted paint to get a thicker coverage.

The best paint for an older deck depends on the material and whether or not your deck already has a coat of paint. Generally, if your deck already has paint on it, you should choose the same type of paint when repainting the deck. For example, if an old deck has oil-based paint on it, stick with oil; if your deck has water-based paint, choose water-based paint.

Staining a deck with a rag is typically a better option than using a brush, as it helps the stain penetrate deeper into the wood. However, both brushes and rags are best reserved for detailed work because using these tools on an entire deck can require tediously crawling around on your hands and knees. A pad applicator, sprayer, or roller are preferred alternatives to applying stain over the majority of a deck. Use a rag for railings and other detailed work, and let the wood soak up as much of the stain as possible before wiping away drips or pools.
