"I suggest you request a morning appointment.  The technician showed up after 5pm and was in a terrible mood.  He would ignore my questions and my husband was on the verge of throwing him out.  He did not advise us of what he was doing and he removed one of the interior filters that he refused to replace.  He did not have a ladder to access our attic so my husband brought ours in from the garage.  We were glad when the A/C was working and glad he left.

"I contacted All Valley Solutions for my parents for a bathtub/shower remodel. My dad said Robert Hernandez was so great throughout the entire process of remodeling our bathtub/shower to a stand up handicap accessible shower. He walked my dad through the process of the remodel, answered all of his questions, was efficient with his time, and was always on time as well. And he came out to Los Fresnos for the job. The work was finished quickly and My dad will be hiring him again for other remodeling jobs. We highly recommend him for your remodel jobs. He also gave my dad a discount for being a veteran."

Install Boiler questions, answered by experts

Generally, an oil furnace is considered safer than a gas furnace for several reasons. While both types of furnaces can produce carbon monoxide, a leak in an oil furnace is easier to detect due to the smell. Oil furnaces also don't connect to a gas pipeline, which reduces the chance of a fuel leak. Most importantly, heating oil is not combustible, whereas natural gas is highly flammable. This means there is a much lower risk of combustion or explosion with an oil furnace. However, an oil furnace can still pose a fire hazard if it tips over.

Propane is more cost-efficient than natural gas on a per-unit basis because it produces twice as much heat energy as an equivalent amount of natural gas. But propane is not ideal if you already have a gas line installed. The best choice for your home depends on the efficiency of your appliances and the amount of installation required of your fuel choice.

A furnace takes in cool air, heats it through the burner and heat exchanger, and sends the air on its way to warm your home. A boiler is a pressurized vessel that produces hot water or steam to heat the home and provide hot water. A boiler may or may not work together with a furnace.

Overall, heating your home with an oil furnace tends to be less expensive than heating your home with an electric heating system. Oil heating systems stay warm for longer periods of time without drawing a constant electrical current to maintain a temperature. Plus, heating oil systems typically have a longer lifespan and lower price tag than their electrical counterparts, resulting in short- and long-term savings.

If you want to have hot water in your home and part of your plumbing system, you'll need a hot water heater. An alternative may be to heat water as you use it, such as by boiling what you need on the stove. But that's much less efficient and takes considerably longer than hooking up a water heater. Another option is to rely on appliances, such as a dishwasher or washing machine, that heat the water themselves.
