"Bottom line: I would hire this company again. Koala Insulation came and inspected my attic spaces with a infrared scanning tool. They looked at the level of insulation and found areas where the heat was penetrating more. They recommended specific actions and gave me a number of quoted options on the spot. I was then able to book the service within days of the initial visit. The technicians came and performed the service professionally and made sure to involve me where needed. I would hire them again."

"I live in a old house, and the insulation on the attic needs to be added.  City of Austin Utilities (Austin Energy) has a great rebate program for insulation, so I signed up.  EnergyAttic is one of the companies listed by Austin Energy.  For getting the quote, the audit person was friendly and through with his explanation about what's and why's.  Finally I scheduled for the work.  Kent came with his crews and basically supervised and worked on the problem and the insulation.  He made sure everything was installed (seal, insulation) properly and Austin Energy auditor approved the work.  The door blower/blast test took a while because of setting issue (EnergyAttic subcontracted to other company), and finally after 3 hours, we did get an excellent result.  I was happy with Kent's and his crews work.  They were friendly, punctual, and got the work done.  They actually came back to reseal door on the furnace area.  They also promised to come back if  I were to work on the attic and the insulation needed to be re-sweep."

"I called for an estimate. The estimater arrived a few minutes early the next day. He went up in the attic and wrote up a bid. I advised him that I would check the depth of the insulation upon completion, if I accepted the bid. I accepted the bid the following day. I was informed that the truck was in for maintenance and availability was unknown. The agreed schedule was that afternoon. There were two delays of a day and when they did arrive they were a couple of hours later than the call said they would be. I was kept reasonably well informed and felt that they were telling me the truth about the situation as the parts and repairs of the truck took longer than anticipated. (this was a big factor to me ) When they did finally arrive it was on a Saturday. Upon arrival they started immediately and worked quickly. The job was excellent. It was worth the wait. I went up into the attic and checked. The insulation was all the way back in the far corners and in the difficult to reach areas. (Much of the difficult areas had very little insulation before) . My attic is tight. Measuring sticks had been put in and I was able to see the depth of the insulation. It met or exceeded the depth of insulation I had selected (R38), 14 1/2 inches. I feel that the installation crew made sure that the job was done right."

"I typically don't leave reviews but if you are looking for a review to help you make your decision please read this. When we contacted Lane he was at our house within three hours. He explained what needed to be done but never pressured us to do more than what was necessary. His crew was on time, extremely professional, and worked together to do a pretty large install. By the end of the evening our house was completely cool. But here's the best part. Ran into an issue later that evening where the unit turned off so my husband called to leave a voicemail since it was 10:30 at night. Lane called him back right away. Lane was here at 9 am and determined it was an electric issue. So he calls his Electrician, and within an hour he was there. It was a simple fix and it completely solved our problem. My husband and I were blown away by the professionalism, the customer service, and overall experience.
You will not find a better A/C & Heating company.

Forrest was extremely responsive. I called and he was able to come by, I believe, the next day to an energy audit to determine why my electric bill was outrageous and the temperature varied throughout the house. Right away he determined there was virtually no insulation in the attic (easier said than done considering the dark,  3 ft crawl space filled with giant metal ducts) except what was left from the original install in 1975. I was able to schedule to have the work done in about 5 days. I'm not sure if the price was good or not but I really liked Forrest and he was available to get the work done ASAP...that made it the right price!  He and his crew arrived when they said they would, blew in the insulation, mended ducts, expelled all the critters in the attic, and replaced the broken booster fan blocking the air going to the opposite end of the house.

I also texted Forrest Friday with concerns that there was hot air coming out of the vent when the AC wasn't on, he said he could be there the next day to check it out. He showed up when he said he would, determined that coincidently, I walked under the vent right when the AC turned on and all the hot air was being pushed from the duct.  There was no issues other than my bad timing.

I will continue to use this company for everything and anything they can provide that I need in the future.
