"transaction with FiberCare was exceptional.  Called to make an appointment to get an estimate.  I left message on voice mail and call was promptly returned within 5 minutes.  Set date for estimate fibercare called me 30 minutes prior to appointment to confirm the time.  John showed up on time and viewed carpet in all 4 rooms I wanted and quoted a price right there.  No pressure selling involved in my conversation.  We agreed on price and set date for FiberCare to come clean carpets.  My appointment was for 11:00 am on a Saturday.  I received a text message at 7:30 am day of appointment to confirm the 11:00 am start time.  John showed up on time cleaned carpets in all 4 rooms in about two hours.  carpets were cleaned to our satisfaction will certainly use them again in the  future.  Great job great service.

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

Yes, a dirty air filter can cause a higher electric bill. That’s because clogged filters make it harder for air to flow through your HVAC system, which forces it to work harder and use more energy. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, replacing dirty filters can save you between 5% and 15% in utility costs.

How often you change your air filter depends on your home and lifestyle. Things like how many people are in your home, pets, the season, the size of your home, the air quality where you live, and more all impact your HVAC system. The best practice is using visual indicators to determine when it needs changing by checking if light can pass through it. If you can’t see any light, it’s clogged and needs to be changed.

While caulking is handy for quite a bit of jobs, it’s still limited. Any crack or gap larger than 1/4 inch is best left for a more intensive repair job. When you hire house painters, they should run a thorough check to see what they need to repair before they start the job.

Large repairs that caulking typically won’t do well with include cracks or holes larger than a 1/4 inch, rotted wood, or metal surfaces, such as garage doors.

If you have a lot of dust in your home, an air purifier can help draw dust, pet dander, and pollen out of the air and trap it in a filter. Air purifiers are especially nice if you have allergies or lots of pets as air purifiers that use a HEPA filter can reduce allergens by up to 99.7%.

While an air purifier can trap mold spores and stop them from spreading around your home, it’s not the most effective solution for tackling the problem. Mold is caused by excess moisture and humidity, so there’s a good chance you have an issue somewhere else in your HVAC system that needs to be addressed.
