and add a fire pit to my backyard. He was enthusiastic and ready to get started right away, that week. The first issue I had was that the frame for the slab did not extend all the way under my faucet as we had discussed and indicated on the paperwork. When I asked him about it he said it was because my sprinkler pump was under the faucet. I let it go, but later after some research this statement was a lie. My sprinkler water pump was way on the other side of the yard. He just did not want to redo the frame work. The next process was to have the slab poured. There were 10 delays due to his excuses that went from... waiting on the concrete people to come/confirm, to telling me the wrong day, to him having to go out of town, and a few others. I finally sent him a text that I was done we needed to part ways and I wanted a full refund. However, only after that text was sent to him was my slab poured. The slab looked great no complaints there, but I later notice that he or a member of his crew pulled off the metal top on my water hose so now nothing can be connected to it. Now was to have the patio stained. I was promised several times I would be provided color samples to look at, but I never saw or received them. Then again for this process, appointments were made by him where he failed to show up or canceled, and at times without notification unless I reached out to him asking where he was. It seemed as though I was always the one to have contact him as to why he was not at the scheduled appointment. He is not always very good at responding to phone calls or text. What should have been a project that was completed in a few weeks has turned into 2 months and nowhere near completion. This has been a very irritating process. After the most recent appointment that Mr. Alvarez failed to show up to without letting me know. I sent him a text firing him and letting him know I wanted a partial refund. He did not reply to my text or phone call. I informed him in another text and an attempted phone call I would be filing a claim with small claims court and reporting him to the BBB, if we did not have a resolution by an indicated date and time. A few days later I came home to a note and a check of ¼ of the amount of money I asked for. So my advice is do not hire this person he is very unorganized, unreliable, has a lot of excuses, does not communicate well and makes promises he doesn?t follow through on. He is amazing. If he can't get it fixed, he won't charge you for it. He will call you and let you know what the problem is. He will go three rounds trying to find the part, either Pick-n-Pull, aftermarket part and then last of course would be the OEM, the Original Equipment part. So, that's the only place I go for parts and inspections and oil changes and stuff. I have recommended my father and mother to go there. They're satisfied with him. My neighbor had his Lincoln down there and loves the job and the work they do. They're timely and considerate. It's like it used to be in the old days. There's nothing I wouldn't recommend to him. He can get a car restored. If you want just an engine valve job done, he'll do it. He will keep you in the loop along the way. I've got a nine year old truck that I've taken very good care of. It has got only 65,000 miles. Finally, my blower motor went out. The first time it went out, it would come on and go off. I took it there. He didn't charge me because it came on. Anybody else could have stuck me with a bill. He says, \"Come back when it quits.\" It took about a month and it quit. I took it down there. Instead of paying $700 and something, which I found out it would be in General Motors, he charged me $350 and something for the parts and labor. It's pretty cheap. He could have said a whole bunch of other things. He is not that kind of person. Anything you need done, he can do it. His daughter works in there. She keeps you up-to-date on what's going on, when the part is in, where they're at. She is very good about keeping you abreast of what's happening. The quality of service is amazing, just like the old days. You don't even have to worry about it. He doesn't charge an overnight fee or parking fee. He even puts my Mustangs in the garage overnight. He'll put my truck inside. He'll put our Ford Flex inside there. He treats you like family. He treats people like he would want to be treated. You meet the guy and you think you've known him forever. I would go nowhere else."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/temple/adrian%27s-garage-reviews-5621098.htm"},"position":8},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Bantex Construction Inc","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"TX","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"James R."},"reviewBody":"
Terry Banta (owner) was extremely helpful with design and cost savings during initial discussions prior submitting an estimate. Terry's estimate was very competitive when compared with other local home builders. All aspects of the work were done professionally. Terry ensured the work continued at a very good pace and the yard and surrounding area was kept clean and free of debris during construction. Terry responded immediately to any issues that arose during construction. Although weather has been a factor this spring, the project was completed quicker than expected. I am extremely pleased with all parts of the final work. The brickwork is especially good. The existing brick is over 23 years old, but Terry was able to mix a few of the old brick from demolition with new brick that matched fairly close. The final look is a very good match with the rest of the house. This is important because the addition faces the front of the house (street view). Final cost came in below the estimate when considering a few additions required after the estimate was submitted. I highly recommend Terry for work. I know I will be calling him if I need any work done in the future.

FAQs for metal fabrication and restoration projects in Clifton, TX
Metal fabrication is a large umbrella term that can include bending metal, welding, cutting, stamping, drilling, forging, and casting. Metal fabricators often have quite a few pieces of specialized machinery and experience in the different forms of fabrication, which means they’re able to handle many different forms of metal work. An experienced metal fabricator might be able to tackle everything from creating metal siding or roofing from raw materials to constructing a custom wrought iron fence.
The average hourly rate for a metal fabricator is around $70, but the scope of your project will play a big role in your total costs. A good way to get an estimate for your metal fabrication project is to multiply the cost of raw materials by four. A quarter of your total typically goes toward material, and three quarters goes toward labor. Some factors that can influence your metal fabrication costs include the difficulty of your project, the metal you’re using, and your specified design.
A welder is a metal worker that uses heat and specialized tools to bind metal together, while a sheet metal worker more often uses cold methods to bend thin sheets of metal into shape for siding, roofing, or some other application. A metal fabricator might use one or both of these metal working techniques, along with others, to provide a wider range of services. In many cases, a metal fabricator is the most likely to be able to handle your metal project.
