"CJâ sWindow cleaning arrived a little early. They had a very efficient system. They were better than I expected, and willing to even clean my mirrors. They left no streaks, only bright sunlight shining through clean glass. Very pleasant experience."

"They were professionals.  They arrived when they said they would.  They were polite and very aware of the way they kept things as clean as possible.  They stated that once put in place the AC would keep the temperature within a degree of where the temperature was set. So far that has been true.

"They did a spectacular job on my custom cabinets, we hired them to complete a remodel of a cabin, well house, and warehouse; they performed roofing, fencing, siding, electrical, plumbing, painting, maintenance and so many other tasks. Dave and his team were professional, clean, courteous and dedicated to each project as if it were theirs personally. We were informed each day of the progress and next steps. Dave was available at all times to discuss the projects. He was flexible, had great ideas and looked out for our best interest and budget. Thanks Cronin and Sons! Customers for LIFE!!"

"LeafFilter doesn't clean gutters, they sell and install their LeafFilter Gutter products and only clean the gutters if you buy their product. I can't even begin to afford their product so I wasn't able to get my gutter cleaned by them."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The cost of a professional deep clean ranges from $180 to $375, depending on the size of the home and what state it’s in. A 2,000-square-foot home, for example, can cost anywhere from $240 to $500 to deep clean, while a 3,000-square-foot home falls in the $360 to $750 range.

Costs depend on floor type, area size, and additional services like waxing or sealing.

While a biohazard cleanup sounds like a scary process, knowing what to expect can help ease your concerns and set you up for success. It’s good to note that more than one professional might be needed depending on your situation, but that will be determined during the assessment. What you can expect during a home biohazard cleanup is the following:

  • Assessment: The first step in this process is for a biohazard cleanup professional to assess the damage. They create a report that includes the biohazard safety level, the needed damage cleanup, and the time it should take to complete the project.

  • Setup: The cleanup professional prepares the site to prevent cross-contamination and reduce toxicity risk. This process can include tarping and creating decontamination zones.

  • Removal of surface contamination: Any contaminated materials are removed from the area, starting with large materials followed by small ones. The professional can assess any floor-related damage once everything is removed from the site.

  • Salvaging items: The biohazard cleanup professionals assess which items can be saved and which are contaminated beyond the point of saving. Those deemed unsafe will be disposed of immediately.

  • Waste disposal: The next step is carefully disposing of the hazardous waste. Your professional will place the contaminated items in specific containers to keep the contamination from spreading.

  • Disinfection: The house will be disinfected and odor-neutralized. Even more minor details, like light switches and bulbs, will be disinfected so that they do not recontaminate the area in the future.

  • Restoration: Once the decontamination is complete, the last step is to restore the home. This includes repairing the damage to flooring, walls, or even the home's foundation.

Services include ash removal, chimney cleaning, gasket checks, and inspection of cracks or damage.

Whether a scullery is worth it depends on how much you like to cook and entertain. If you frequently host gatherings—a scullery is likely worth the money. If you’re looking for ROI, it’s not so clear. It may not add significant value to your home, as it doesn’t increase square footage and may repurpose space that a buyer would have preferred to remain as-is (like a laundry room).
