"I spoke with Erika while they were doing some Work for my neighbor. She gave me a quote that was very reasonable. Her company arrived when they said they would and did a great job! I would recommend them to anyone needing tree work done. They have done work for 5 homeowners that I am aware of in my neighborhood and we are all very happy with their work and professionalism."

"Hire them if you want professional, knowledgeable, quality tree work performed. Elias is a man of integrity and passion for getting the job done correctly, timely, and efficiently. Very communicative and flexible. Had two dead 80ft trees removed, and stump grinding. Cleaned up *everything*. His work is worth every cent. Will be using again and already referred out. Source: I grew up in a landscaping company and took down trees too."

"I recommend Charlie and his amazing crew for quick, efficient, and safe removal of an enormous, completely dead oak, as well as neat trimming of the healthy tree next to our house. Now we have firewood for winters to come, and everything else was hauled away, all in less than one working day!"

"Cristian Tree Service did an outstanding job taking care of trimming trees and bushes as well as removing some really tough bushes that we wanted removed. They stump ground everything we requested them to do, and even went above and beyond when we asked them to haul off some rocks and wood that we did not want anymore. My husband and I will continue using them for our our tree services going forward. Everyone in the group worked very hard and provided excellent customer service. On top of all the great and excellent work, my husband and I found them to be the most reasonably priced. Thank you again."

"Campos Tree Trimming did such a great job on the work they did trimming our 3 trees and hedges. I was asked in the beginning how I wanted them done and when inspecting their labor it had been done to perfection The price was better than expected and they started and finished the same day. No waiting. I will use them again."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Yes, carefully prune back dead branches—don’t wait for pruning season. This helps keep your maple tree healthy and also helps prevent large branches from falling unexpectedly. Don’t seal the cut branch—trees can naturally take care of these wounds—but be sure to remove any source of fungus or pest infestation to help save the tree.

It depends on where you live—but in most areas, leaves begin falling in September and continue falling until January or February. Warmer regions, such as Southern states, may see leaves fall a bit later in the calendar year. It also depends on the type of trees in your yard and their maturity.

The best tool to cut trees is a chain saw. You can adjust your chain saw to the correct size based on the size of the branches, offering you the fastest and cleanest cut for medium- to large-sized trees. Depending on the type of chainsaw you use, you can cut through larger trees than you would with a more manual tool like an ax.

On grafted trees, tree suckers will grow from the root stock, not the branches grafted onto it. Therefore, the leaves and characteristics of the suckers aren’t the same as the tree because they are different varieties. Root stock has more hardiness, strength, or drought tolerance than its grafted limbs, so if the suckers are from fruit or flowers, it might be different than the main part of your tree.

Unfortunately, palm tree stumps are one of the most difficult types to remove due to how their roots grow. Unlike other trees, palm tree roots grow horizontally and vertically. Palm tree roots grow as deep as three feet into the ground, although soil and growing conditions could mean they go as far as 50 inches into the earth.

If you want to be able to repurpose the grass in the area where you removed a stump later, you’ll have to dig quite deep—and perhaps wide—to trim away all the roots.
