Work was performed as per the contract. Clean up was very good. Stumps were ground on the 2 trees I needed removed and all trimmings were chipped on site.

We have used Moore Tree Service for years both here and at our previous home. They are professional, well trained and I know they know the best way to trim trees and when to prune and not prune. In this instance it was not a good time of year to trim oaks, so they did only what had to be done and painted the cuts to prevent disease.
Obviously, although they are not inexpensive, because I realize the importance of maintaining healthy tress on my property, I am willing (and fortunately able) to pay them. I am also aware that one of the reasons they charge as much as they do is because they have well trained and insured employees.

I have used several lawn services and tree care companies in Dallas and Moore Tree Care is by far the best. The arborist that came out to evaluate my trees is both very personable and knowledgable. He is also very responsive to questions via email, which makes things easy. He worked up a detailed, itemized proposal that provided specific instruction for example of which trees needed which level of trimming (ie, trim away from roof vs reduce weight to help tree stop leaning vs cutting dead wood to help prevent bug infestations, etc.). The work was promptly scheduled, and the individual that answers the main number is a joy to work with---very pleasant, professional and helpful. The crew arrived exactly as scheduled and could not have been better. I am very particular with tree trimming and believe in a good balance of trimming what is needed but never over trimming. The leader of the crew was excellent--he had a great eye for what limbs should be trimmed to achieve the goal while preserving the look of the tree. He was also very courteous and would confirm I was on board with trimming limb by limb. The crew doing the cutting was also very courteous and careful, trimming only the limbs as instructed and being very careful as to not damage any property in removing the limbs. They were also very skilled;watching them climb as well as work the trimmers and chainsaw to achieve the right angle and cut tells you that they truly are great at what they do. Cleanup was quick and complete. The entire crew was very personable from start to finish and communication was never an issue (ie no language barrier). I pay Moore tree care (and will continue to use them again in the future) for the excellent, stress free service from start to finish. It is refreshing to find such good service in the lawn/tree industry! Moore is at a whole different level than other shops in town.

The employ Arborists. They knew exactly what they were doing, they were extremely professional, and cleaned up everything well. They are local to Dallas and wonderful people.

They were very responsive to make the bid. They arrived exactly when they said they would. I couldn't believe their punctuality. They performed all what they said they would. Their price was reasonable relative to other services. They left the yard in excellent shape.

Scott Dahlberg is this company’s certified arborist. They are the best tree care company we have ever used. Before we had Moore Tree Care Company I was not that impressed with the person that they send out when compared to Moore and talking with them at the same time and getting two different estimates and just talking to them altogether. Scott Dahlberg is so very detailed and did a very good job on our trees. I don’t remember how much we paid because they did other work also. Their price is in line, give or take some with other better tree companies. I would recommend this company to anybody.

I contacted this company because I wanted a lawn maintenance service to provide more work than simple mow/blow. I hoped they could weed, feed, prune, mulch, and trouble shoot. They took a week to come look at the property, promised a proposal the next day, gave a proposal several days later, for $650/month. They also promised a proposal for an initial cleanup, but never provided it. I asked them to do a mow/blow before a party to test their quality, and they quoted $130/hour for three guys. In the past, I had a mow/blow for $30 -- two guys -- twenty minutes. Got the bill this week: $230. They claim it took them one hour forty minutes for three guys. I have emailed them twice, and they insist this is the price, and simply pointed out they edged as well. We only have stone work and a gravel drive, so very little edging. Do NOT use this company without getting a firm price in advance. I'm not complaining about quality -- only the time/price.

The crew showed up on time and well equipped for the tasks. They were the tree dream team and were fun to watch -- you can't believe how high they went up up in those 100 year old trees! It was shocking. They even hung a huge wind chime for me in my front tree, and helped me carry some very heavy flower pots to the back without being asked. They cleaned my yard up so well when they left that even my neighbors were marveling about it. They were very professional! I had inquired about keeping the chips, and they gave me many more chips than had come just from my trees. Scott made sure that the crew he requested for my job had a "good chipper" so that I would get the best chips. The crew was uber patient with me while I changed my mind 2 or 3 times about where exactly to dump all those chips... Job very well done. I am hiring them again to do some on-going tree care, and my neighbor is also going to hire them to trim her trees.

The HOA Board had several questions about their original bid, but Scott came out and spent an hour walking the property with us and explaining everything. Other companies we had obtained bids from wouldn't come out for an overview unless we paid them. They did a great job and really removed a lot of the bulk of the trees without altering the appearance or shape. They also had to put their truck on a busy street for some of the work and handled that situation well. Overall, we are very pleased and would recommend Moore Tree Care.

I had a positive experience and will use them again. I only had two small complaints: 1. tree trimmers are busy in the fall, and the crew assigned to my house was rescheduled once. This wound up to actually be a benefit to me because the day the crew was rescheduled to arrive was actually a better day for me and my schedule. 2. In my written estimate, the arborist included my request to leave me some wood limbs larger than 3 inch diameter trimmed and stacked for me to use as firewood. The crew completely ignored or forgot to do this. It wasn't a huge deal because there were not many limbs cut that were 3 inches or more in diameter. They use 3 man crews, and the written estimate was very much in line with all of the other estimates I had received. Most people in my neighborhood prune their trees every 2 or 3 years. I've lived here over 2 years and I suspect I will have to do this again in another 2 - 3 years.

An excellent experience from start to finish. Scott Geer, the arborist who outlined the work and provided the estimate was very friendly and professional. He was very helpsul and answered all my questions. The crew was prompt, worked quickly and did na excellent job of cleaning up afterward. I also have to commend Shirley, in their office, who worked with me on setting up the appontment and on the billing. My calls were always answered, and when the person I needed to speak with wasn't available, the call was returned promptly.

It went great. The whole experience went really well. The person that came out was knowledgeable. It was an actual arborist that came out, so not just anybody. I like the fact that they treat organically and conservatively.

Leaves on a tree were withering. I was afraid of a parasite or disease. They diagnosed the problem as the tree not getting enough water, and they gave me a watering schedule. The tree has survived and is doing well.

I am very pleased with the service! The trees were trimmed and I was advised to expose the roots because it's better for the trees so I did it. I am impressed with the company they seem to know what they are doing because the trees look great.
