"It is about $400 yearly for the general pest spraying and about $300 for the termite bait traps and inspection. I have been using them for about 5 years and they are really good. I will use them again in the future."

"I am beyond grateful I upgraded from my old company to these guys. I had been with my old pest control guy for so long but finally 3 weeks ago I cut the tie and WOW I donâ t know why I hadnâ t done this sooner!! Finally the outside of the my house is actually cleaned, Havnt seen spiders in my daughters room anymore, and no more ants by our fridge.. my wife says the service man was very nice as well, but honestly I donâ t care how nice the guy is, I just want my home clean of bugs. He did do that, so Iâ ll be happy to see them again next visit!"

"We just purchased a home, and inspectors notified us that rodents had been living in attic and left a huge mess in insulation, etc. Little Rascals came out with estimate, and were prompt. They were very thorough, and explained the process in detail and answered our questions. We ultimately had 4 estimates from various vendors in area that we found through Home Advisor. We chose Little Rascals because of Kenny (our rep), the customer service, and how serious this vendor took the job. The team that was assigned to the clean-up was very efficient and effective as they worked through the attic areas. They also arrive promptly, and phoned 30 min ahead of arriving. They worked hard, really did a very complete job. If all the follow-up occurs as promised, I think this company will continue to be very successful in the DFW area. We will follow-up with our review as warranted. So far, this a good service company and we are relieved to have their expertise on our side, and hopefully no further issues with vermin."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

While there are plenty of DIY home remedies for pests, trapping and fumigation costs are worth the investment when dealing with a serious infestation that is hard to get rid of, like termites,  bed bugs, or mice.

DIY traps and sprays might help eliminate a few ants or the occasional mouse, but they're no match for a full-blown infestation. Call an extermination pro to locate where pests hide, how to treat the issue at the source, and how to keep it from returning.

The time and number of treatments required to get rid of roaches depend on several factors, including the type of roach, the severity of the infestation, and the extermination method. For small infestations, a single treatment may be sufficient, with results seen in as little as 1 to 3 days. Larger or more severe infestations will require several treatments. It typically takes around 2 to 8 weeks to completely eliminate roaches in most cases, but severe infestations can take up to 6 months to fully resolve.

Earwigs are omnivores, so they have a varied diet. Generally, they feast on decaying organic matter, leaves, flowers, and vegetables. They’ll also eat other insects (dead or alive) like aphids, sowbugs, and mites.

Termites can start causing damage within just a few weeks of settling in, and while the signs might not show up right away, they can hollow out drywall and structural wood within a few months. If left untreated for a year or more, the damage can be extensive and expensive.

While it may seem counterintuitive, it is best to continue sleeping in your bed even if you have a bed bug infestation. If you move to another room, the bed bugs may follow you, which can spread the infestation to other parts of your home. To minimize bites while you sleep, wear protective clothing that covers as much of your body as possible, such as long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and socks. In the meantime, you should also isolate any potentially infested belongings and take steps to kill the bed bugs on your mattress as quickly as possible while waiting for professional treatment.
