Last year we thought replacing the kitchen countertops and painting the walls would make our kitchen look more modern. After the work was completed, we realized that we should have replaced the kitchen cabinets as well. We had several contractors look at the cabinets and give us their opinion. He built a complex set of braces to hold up the countertops and was successful at removing the lower cabinets without any damage to the new countertops.
