"Armando was wonderful to work with! I knew more or less what we needed & wanted & shared those ides with him. After Armando did his assessment of what we were working with he gave us a general idea of what he could do along with his bid. After 2 other bids, we chose Armando's Wood Cabinets. We had brown cabinets & we wanted white, best decision yet. We decided we wanted knobs, so I ordered glass knobs from Amazon; gorgeous! Armando also added 2 more cabinets for some much needed cabinet space. My husband enjoys washing dishes and needed some slight modifications to accommodate his wheelchair beneath the cabinets, great work! The black splash we chose was beautiful! "Pretty well. Walter was anxious to start and they got the outside stucco, trim and repairs done quickly and well. The house looks very nice. The job took about a month. The inside did not go quite as smoothly. I did not know from day to day which rooms the painters were going to be in, so it made planning difficult for getting things out of their way--paintings off the walls, clothing out of the closets--things I prefer to do myself. The painters did not appear to be used to doing alot of work inside houses in which the owners were living and were not quite as careful as I would have liked. The sheet rock repair was well done and the paint looks good. They tended to borrow some of our tools and things from the garage to do work without asking, but were honest. Clean up wasn't quite as good as i would have liked. Walter was easy to get a hold of but communication with Walter did not always appear to get to his crew. When things came up on the job, and they always do, he was easy to work with. Over all, I would hire them again, but more heavily supervise the inside work. I was not home during the day."

"Very good. I think the price quoted was very fair and not inflated despite the post-hurricane demand. It took about a week to get the quote, but once we received the quote they were ready to start immediately. Arnold was scheduled to do the work on a Saturday, but it was raining, so he temporarily covered the holes (Thank you Arnold!) and came back Sunday to do the work. I am in the Dallas area, but the house is in Portland, so my brother-in-law drove from Three Rivers both days (Thank you Jonny!) to provide access to power and did yard work while Arnold did the repair. Arnold helped with removing tree limbs that had fallen on the roof and caused the holes. When the job was completed he sent me before, during and after photos, which was very helpful. Scott, the owner, sent me an invoice by email and I was able to pay online very easily using a credit card. We are pleased with our dealings with both Scott and Arnold and are planning to use Allied Roofing for work on other properties."
