"The Basement Kings finished their LARGE job this morning, and I can’t praise them enough! They had a long, difficult job, but no complaints. When they discovered a problem, they fixed it. No problem, that’s their job. They found the water problem had a lot to do with drainage, so they worked outside in cold & rain & developed a system to carry water away from the house. That, to me, was over & above, but they said their main objective was to get & keep the basement dry, so they did what they had to do with no complaints. "Alex Blaker and his team were referred to me by ADU small home sales person in Austin Tx. My project was creating additional barrier walls in a home for the PadSplit app. We had to add 3 electrical outlets, as well as connect a clothes washer that required all lines electrical and water to be ran. Alex was cordial, easy to work with and genuinely cares about the work and level of craftsmanship that goes into the project. You will meet Dario and others on his team who are incredibly polite, clean, and efficient. Project was completed in a little over a week. Budget: initial bid around $7800 + taxes, two owner approved add ons elevated the project around $600. (Plug relocation, and dryer vent routing) Payment was made in 3 payments over the life of the project. I like this as it lets you see the project be started first. Alex kept me in the loop every day and came over in person to inspect, and recommend updates to the job.
