Throughout my career, I have gained extensive hands-on experience performing a wide range of interior and exterior construction work.\n\nMy areas of expertise include framing, drywall, tile installation, flooring, finish trim, cabinet installation, and painting. In my mid-twenties, I also spent several years working alongside an experienced mason, where I developed a strong passion and skill set for masonry and concrete work.\n\nI have extensive experience with brick and block construction, natural and veneer stone, stucco, and concrete preparation and finishing. "The roofer did not show up at the appointment time. When I finally called to see why no one came I was told they didn't come due to the rain. I believe they were in Dallas. I am in the mid cities and it had not rained at all. The problem was no one called me to tell me they would not come or ask if it was raining where I was. So the lady asked if I still wanted a roofer to come and we arranged for him to come right away which she said would be about 40 minutes. 1 1/2 hours later the man arrived. He walked around on the roof a short time and then showed me some pictures of where the roof needed to be replaced and a few minor spots of re nailing. He said I would get an estimate from the company. I told him I wanted copies of the pictures. I repeated this a number of times. The man was hispanic and I am not sure how well we were understanding each other. I later got a one line estimate to replace part of roof...no detail as to how much material, etc., no other detail to repairs, no pictures. I called the company as I was in process of selling my house and needing to know what had to be done or not done but was not going to give a "blank check" to fix "whatever". The estimate also did not deduct the amount spent on the Angie's Deal as promised in the deal.The office finally corrected that and sent me a new quote minus that...but no further detail as to materials or pictures. My impression: the Angie's Deal for this company is a sham...not worth the expense as you get little for your $$ and they hopefully get a customer for thousands of $$ of roofing repair. I also hear this company advertised on the radio frequently and I do not recommend. I did end up with another company who looked at my roof with my insurance adjuster and I replaced the total roof in a few days time. The new company was terrific to work with and allowed me to close on time and sell my home."
