Coronado Innovations is a local family owned and managed company. Skilled at a wide range of repairs, typically around the home. These tasks include trade skills, repair work, maintenance work, are both interior and exterior,

"We hired Danny Coronado in April 2023 to do the landscaping and irrigation on our property. When we hired Danny, we told him exactly what needed to be done on our property and let him know he had until June 30th, 2023 to complete the work so it did not affect the closing of our custom built home. We gave him months to complete the work and paid multiple installments based on the timeline of the job. It involved building a fence, putting up 2 gates, installing irrigation and multiple zones to properly water our plants and grass, lay sod in the front and back, install 10 large Leland Cypress trees, plants 20-25 plants, stamp rock in front, lay rock on our 2 tier retaining wall, install a drip system, and oversee the project. From the beginning of the project, we had issues with Dannys work but we allowed him months to come back and attempt to fix the problems. He and his crew would tell us they were coming to work and not show up at all or be hours late. Days before our July 14th closing on our new home, the work was still being completed or fixed by Coronado Innovations. There were delays because his bank shut down his account after we paid him via credit card, stating that the amount we paid was too large an amount for his account to accept. Danny has had tons of excuses these past 4+ months as to why he couldn't come to the house to finish the work or fix the issues he caused to our property. He delivered dead plants to our home and I had to go get replacements at a local nursery. Danny and his crew raced to get the irrigation and sod laid without checking to make sure the zones worked properly. Over the 4th of July weekend, my husband and I spent hours watering the front and back and all the plants and trees since we had no working irrigation. Thousands and thousands of dollars spent on brand new landscaping and it was dying. We had flooding going on in the back, a busted water meter, sprinklers weren't in the proper locations, the grass wasn't getting water, the rock in the front was going all over our driveway, the wrong size rock was laid in the front and back, the landscape felt was done wrong so we have grass and weeds coming thru, the gate latch broke after 1 months use, the sprinkler wire is too shallow, the drip system doesn't work, the water pressure was super low because he didn't add enough zones, and the list goes on. He then turned off his phone and made himself unavailable for 10 days with no correspondence. Its September 8th and we are still dealing with all of these issues below: *All 10 Cypress trees are completely dead. *We've had a ruptured pipe on the side of the house for months *Sprinkler heads are not on the right locations *Sprinkler flow is shooting out like a hose rather than a mist *Sprinkler heads are too tight so cant swivel *Leak at the master valve for weeks so water bill was high *Rock in the front should have been 3-4inch so it doesn't run down the driveway *Car gets stuck in the front gravel because the rock is too small *The brand new gate is broken already. Latch fell off to the ground (again) *Drip system is wrong. There's no " brum ring is missing around the Cypress trees to retain water since they are located on a slope. *there needs to be 2 rows of drip lines around the plants in the backyard flower beds *Rock in the back is too small. Its overflowing down the retaining walls *Not enough water on the left side of Cypress trees and too much water on the right ones. *1st 2 weeks of water are crucial for Cypress trees so the roots don't burn and they had no water since he didn't check the zones and water supply to the landscaping *6 plants are completely dead *Zones were not planned out and organized *Zoysia grass is dead because it had no water *Sprinkler wiring is buried too shallow. *Another pipe was ruptured and there were rock and glue stuck in the piping that had to be flushed out. *Need thicker screws on the gate. The last time Danny came to our home was the 1st week of August. The entire month went by and he didn't come out to fix what he saw that 1st week of August. He said he had health issues, he couldn't get out to our house, we needed to wait for it to be cooler for him to fix the work, and so on. I would NEVER recommend Danny Coronado, Georgetown Awnings or Coronado Innovations to do any work! The Coronado Innovations website is no longer active and Georgetown Awnings is what we found and linked his name to as Operations Manager for that company. This gentlemen is full of excuses and does not know what he is doing."

Central Vacuum Cleaners questions, answered by experts

The average cost for central vacuum cleaner repair is $310, though prices can range from $120 to $500. Your total cost will depend on the type of repair needed and the type of central vacuum you own.

A minor motor repair, like lubrication, only costs around $50. However, if you need to replace your motor, you’ll be looking at a much higher price tag with a total of $100 to $500. Other fixes, like electrical work, are charged by the hour, which ranges from $15 to $55 per hour.

Maintaining your central vacuum cleaner is crucial to extending its lifespan. Ensuring the filter is cleaned or changed often is vital to ensuring clogs don’t impact your motor. In addition, inspecting motor brushes regularly and lubricating the engine when needed helps keep it in tip-top shape. Finally, cleaning the central vacuum hose of dirt and debris helps keep clogs at bay, especially if you’ve vacuumed something wet or sticky.

The disadvantages associated with central vacuums start with cost. They are expensive to install, especially in existing homes, as retrofitting requires opening walls. The system's bulky hoses can also be inconvenient to maneuver and store compared to portable vacuums. Additionally, repairs may need professional service, adding to maintenance costs. Lastly, while powerful, they may be overkill for smaller homes or apartments, making the investment less practical for some households.

No. Only the hose or the attachments are portable in a central vacuum system. A portable vacuum is a standalone model like a stick, canister, or upright. A central vacuum system is defined by a central power unit, which is installed in one place like an AC unit, and the connected network of piping to funnel the suction.

Yes, installing a central vacuum system typically adds value to your home. The ease of use, longevity, and superior suction power of a central vacuum system can add up to $2,000 to your home’s value if you decide to sell. Potential buyers may consider the central vacuum a perk to purchasing your home.
