It went fantastic.  We called to get an estimate and he was there the same day.  He told us what day he could start and was there on time, left everything clean and we are very happy with the job

We thought the estimate was reasonable and they were eager to have a job to do before the holidays. All went well initially during the demo and sheet rocking phase but when they started doing more detail and finish work, they were fairly sloppy and got upset if we pointed out problems. It turned into a nightmare when they sanded the drywall with the central heat on and all of the vents open throughout our two-story house. Everything on both floors was quickly covered in a fine white "dust" and Christmas was upon us! It took a full day of two of us dusting and vacuuming to clean up all of the dust. When I tried to speak with the owner, Zack, about the need for them to be more careful and respectful of our living space, he became angry and defensive and said that we were too demanding. It escalated to the point where he and his crew packed up and left and we never heard from them again (although he said they needed "a break" and he would call me in a day or two). In summary, all of the men were very pleasant with the exception of Zack, who was very prone to getting upset without being provoked. I believe that this company was out of it's "element" in doing a renovation on a higher end home with the owners continuing to live in it. Before departing on their final day, Zack did tell me that most of their interior renovations consisted of converting garage space into living space and that there wasn't the need to be so careful and mindful of any mess that was being created. I would not use them for any interior work on a higher end home, however their portfolio of work done on exterior work and patios was quite nice and much more likely to be something that they would do well. In the end, we hired a couple of subs to finish the work and the renovation turned out great. If you hire this company, I would be sure to have all of your expectations written out in detail and agreed upon before hiring them.

It appears like it is part of the original House. took about two weeks. Very Happy!

Zack came to our home and conducted a thorough analysis of what we were looking for.  He provided us with an estimate of the costs of the project in a timely manner and outlined his plans for the deck.

We gave him the go-ahead, and his crew arrived on the day they said they would, and completed the deck in two days.  The deck was as we envisioned it, and was fairly priced.  His crew cleaned up after themselves and were professional and friendly.  I would definitely use Zack and Element Construction again.

I should have known better since on teh fist day that they were on site, they cut into my house and then put plastic over teh openings. I asked the question if it woudl be OK since it was about to rain. They assured me that it would. Late that evening it started raining and teh rain was running down that wall on teh INSIDE of my house, still messed up to this day. All through the project thet were performiing sub-standard and ewhn they wer done, none of the lines lines on my house matched up, even the roof was different heights. When I asked, teh ownere just said "It is what is is!" I would definately NOT recommend these guys to ANYONE!!!!!

I would recommend Element Construction for all jobs, big and small for general construction, roofing, concrete, painting

Took approximately two weeks and all went well.  Zack, Hobie, and crew were professional and responsive to all needs and requests.  Covered Deck is 14' x 28'.  Roof ties well into roofline and has four electrical power drops with inboard (to house) corners having a 4-plug outlet and outboard power drops having a 2-plug outlet.  Northwest corner has the phone and satellite drop.  Through the North-South centerline of the Ceiling we have the well spaced power drops for all three ceiling fans.  Job well done Element!!!  I consult Zack and Hobie on many projects.  They started as Contractors and remain as Friends!

Arrived around 0900 and began to layout and dig the area where the slab was to be layed. Constructed framing and drilled holes into driveway slab. Layed wire and tied together. Took lunch break and had concreted delivered after lunch. Poured concrete and began process of leveling and smoothing concrete. Cleaned up and finished around 1600. Next day in late morning to noonish, returned and took out framing and cleaned up. Job pretty well done.

I wanted a back patio that had a tuscany style, and was not sure how to explain the design to Mr Kinney.
  But  After looking over some of his photos of past work and listening to his ideas I was comfortable with
  going forward with work. The patio turned out like a dream come true,I LOVE IT !!!!!!

I was amaized with Zack from the first meeting. Zack came out to do an estimation on the project, I told him what I was looking to do and wanted his opinion, he looked at the area and made a great recommendation as to what would look the best. once I agreed on the work, his crew came to check out the site, took measurements and said  they were ready to start when I wanted, I said right away and was pleasantly surprised when they started that same day, they went out purchased the materials, and within a few hours they were back, had the frame complete. they came back the next two days and the project was complete, everything matched my existing roof, trim, shingles, slope, it had more ceiling clearance than I expected ( Loved and needed the extra height). Many things about the crew that I enjoyed was their teamwork and how they assisted and knew what each other needed. they were all very professional. another crew member that deserves a shout out is Zack electrician (John) WOW he is good. I was very very impressed with Zack and his whole crew. Do yourself a big favor and hire this team for any of your repairs, the only number I will keep.

They did a good job.  They complied with instructions, listened well, and did exactly what I wanted done.  They were able to complete the project in about 4 days.
