"These guys arrived on time and got to work immediately. We were very satisfied with everything. The foreman - Juan - was very professional and accommodating. They cleaned everything up and hauled away the old shrubbery. We will definitely use them again!"

"JB Paving did an exceptional job on the driveways and parking areas of my mobile home park. Competitively priced and very professional. Arrived as communicated and cleaned up afterwards. Very well done. I am hiring them for additional work. Local, family business. Can’t go wrong hiring JB Paving."

"We hired Texas Fence Company to remove a 6 ft wood fence and replace it with an 8.5 ft one. They also installed an iron automatic driveway gate and breezeway gate. We had a couple of issues, but with any larger project that should be expected. These concerns were brought to the attention of Trey Burgess, the General Manager. Once he stepped in, every concern was addressed and corrected as promised. I would have no issue recommending Texas Fence Company to any of my family or friends. Thanks again Trey for making this project look absolutely perfect."

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

The cost to pour a driveway apron depends on the material and size. Concrete costs $3 to $10 per square foot, asphalt ranges from $2 to $5, and pavers are $5 to $15 per square foot. Additional expenses, like excavation, base material, and labor, can increase the total cost. For example, a standard 12x15-foot concrete apron could cost between $540 and $1,800, depending on local rates and additional work required. Always consult a local driveway paving contractor to get an accurate estimate tailored to your project.

Yes, with colored finishes and decorative stamping for a personalized touch.

Professionals restore the surface to a fresh, attractive finish by applying a new, even sealant layer.

Your city or county will have guidelines about the minimum and maximum width and length of private roads. The average private road is 12 feet wide, and length, of course, depends on your property. Requirements also depend on the amount of traffic and types of vehicles your road experiences. Check with local ordinances before planning a road on your property.

While paving a driveway is possible to do as a DIY project, we don’t recommend it. Hiring a driveway professional to pave it will ensure that your driveway looks neat and clean and lasts for years to come, and it will also prevent a weak driveway and, potentially, damage to your foundation. Paving a driveway requires heavy machinery, and while you can rent the equipment needed, operating it close to your garage slab or around your home’s foundation can crack it and lead to structural issues.
