"The finished product was beautiful! It was done very professionally. Mike has lots of experience installing and renovating, especially in renovating bathrooms and showers. My only advice would be for the client to 1) FIRST, get a sample of the tile you want to use for your shower stall. Bring it into your bathroom and make sure it looks in THAT light the way you want it to. (At the store, the lighting can make the colors of tiles appear a bit different than they will look in your bathroom at home.) 2) Assume that renovating a bathroom and/or shower will be a major renovation! Remove virtually EVERYTHING from the room and the adjacent room(s), and what is too huge to move, cover with plastic or cloth drop cloths. Renovations, no matter how "limited" are big, often complex, usually messy/dusty jobs and it is up to the client to clear away as much furniture, clothing, art objects, etc. for the workmen as possible and to cover and protect floors, carpets, etc. Also, leave a nice, open, clear path for the workmen in your house and with access to your garage. They work quickly. They don't have time to do a lot of moving of things...that is up to you. Agree upon what is YOUR responsibility and what is theirs beforehand. The workmen are honest, prompt and professional. The results will be terrific. I also recommend using the reasonably priced "Floor and Decor" for your renovations. Again, just make sure you take home a couple of samples of tiles and/or flooring so you can see how they look in YOUR home with YOUR lighting! Mike Thompson gave me a great price on excellent work. I highly recommend Mike Thompson and "Bath Time Renovations". He is a very experienced professional."

"I Highly Recommend Stacy Calahan at Calahan Construction & Air! It was in middle of summer 2019, hotter than you can imagine inside my house even with 2 portable a/c units running in LR trying to mitigate some of the heat while waiting on my a/c company to help me. I found Calahan Construction & Air... Stacy came out quickly diagnosed the problem right away, my unit was dead (I had been nursing it over last few years) but I couldn’t purchase a new unit until I got in a place to fund a house remodel. So, I needed a used 5 ton unit - not an easy ask, but Stacy found one and installed it w/in 24 hours for a price that did not break the bank (about the same cost as 2 top of the line portable air conditioners, which I returned!) He was professional, responsive, and quick at a reasonable price! Stacy listened to me, took ownership of my problem, was kind & caring and best of all got the job done quickly at a price I could afford...all in the middle of summer (his busiest season) when other air conditioning companies are charging premium prices or up selling, Stacy Callahan got me what I needed not what he could sell me! I replaced all of the old carpeting in my house with the latest vinyl flooring that mimics the look of hardwood but is water resistant and pet-friendly. "We are extremely satisfied with our experience with Ted's Flooring! Homero was the sales person we worked with - he really went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. He communicated often, answered all our questions, and even brought extra samples to the house so we could see a larger area before ordering. The installers went above and beyond to keep things as clean as possible for us and our pets (despite the dust from tearing out tile), they cleaned every step of the way and were great at telling us the steps involved each day so we could prepare the night before. "It is hard to believe a once reputable company could handle my home recklessly and create more damage than they came to repair. They were hired to clean dust from redoing hardwood floors. Period. They sent a third-party team - without disclosing it - which somehow stirred up soot with their air cleaning machine. When they came to fix their own mess, their hoses ruined the newly done hardwood floors with scratches and scraped the new wallpaper. They poured water on the floors and scrubbed them such that they also buckled. Everything had to be redone. They would not accept responsibility, They literally RUINED the rooms they were in when they came to clean dust. Just dust. The crews tried to blame the A/V techs who were working in another part of the house and didn’t have any equipment on them but tablets for programming. But we quickly saw that lack of accountability starts with the owner, who has never called back. Upon researching how this company could have become so incompetent,, I learned they over priced services when people’s home insurance will pay. This once was an honest business. Now, it is NOT. It is a hazard to bring them into your home. It is corruption."
