"Excellent service. Extremely personable and helpful. Honest about a rug that wasn't worth the money to clean, and excited about cleaning one that was valuable. I have no reservations in recommending them, and will use them again in the future."

"Had to reschedule a couple of times, but it was worth the wait. Very thorough job of removing mold, mildew and soap scum from bath and shower areas. This made it possible to re-caulk the areas where it was mildewed and looks like new again. They removed the rust on one bathtub that had been there for several months, and shined all the fixtures like new. They cleaned all the cabinet doors in kitchen and baths, plus thorough cleaning of all tile floors. The best part was cleaning the high areas (10 foot ceiling) in the kitchen above the cabinets, which were very dusty and covered with cobwebs. Very well satisfied with the results."

Drapery Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Insulating windows without plastic is usually the better method. Outside of simply replacing your windows, you could buy cellular shades, which trap air between the window and the home, add a window film that blocks UV rays and traps heat, or cover your windows with a low-emissivity coating called “low-E.”

Window treatments fall under the categories of hard, soft, and layered. Hard refers to stiff, formed treatments that include window blinds and shutters. Soft refers to cloth window treatments that include drapes and curtains. Finally, layered refers to the combination of soft and hard treatments. For example, you might place flowing drapes over blinds to combine the practicality of a treatment that blocks the sun with the whimsical and elongating aesthetic of a full-window drape.

Use a combination of blackout methods to truly black out your windows. If you want to eliminate all light from your room, try installing a very dark tinted film and then putting up blackout shades over the entire window. Reach out to a professional and request some custom-made shades for the best result.

Strat decluttering for the holidays by removing trash and organizing items into different piles that you’ll keep, donate and toss out. Whatever you intend to keep, find a specific place for it, and if you buy something, get rid of an item that’s taking up space. Start small, go room-by-room, and don’t try to declutter all at once—doing so can get overwhelming.

Hydrogen peroxide can be a good option for removing dried blood stains, but it’s an aggressive solution that could discolor or damage your carpet. It’s often a better option to call in a professional to deal with dried blood stains. A pro will have commercial cleaning solutions that do a better job as well as the experience necessary to get the stain out without doing irreparable damage to your carpet.
