"This Company and Crew are hands down, the most professional bunch of guys I've seen in a long time. They came in with everything they needed to complete the job! They finished on schedule and cleaned up beautifully! Couldn't even tell they had been here. After the storms I wasn't sure how to get the fence rebuilt, Now it's better than before the storm!! I highly recommend Devin Martinez and his group of guys to build your fence or gate!"

"We had a few delays because of the rain. But when stopped raining they showed up on time and started the project. They finished the gate next day. Clean up the trash and hauled it away. I would recommend EZHome to have a fence installed."

"They did a nice job screening in my porch. When I first inquired for a quote, Judd was very responsive and came out that same day to take a look. He was always very good at communicating everything, but my only issue was the somewhat lack of communication of the team that did the work on the porch. They sometimes didn't let us know when they were coming and let themselves into our back gate without a heads up first. They sometimes didn't let us know when they were done for the day and there was miscommunication between Judd and the team about the job being finished when it wasn't yet. Overall it was a good job, just some small miscommunication issues."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Yes, installing a picket fence is a manageable DIY project for homeowners with basic tools and some patience. The process involves marking the fence line, digging post holes, setting the posts, and attaching horizontal rails and pickets. However, precision is key to ensure the fence is straight and sturdy, which can be challenging for beginners. If the fence line is long, the ground is uneven, or you’re working with more complex materials like metal or composite, hiring a pro may be a better option.

The best under-gate dog barrier is one that extends to the ground. This effectively keeps dogs in and won't give them room to squeeze through. However, dogs that dig can still get under the barrier. Deter digging by paving the ground beneath the gate or filling it in with rocks or gravel. Be careful using wire to extend dog gates, as the sharp ends may cut or hurt your dog's paws.

Barbed wire fences provide cost-effective security, livestock containment, and property protection.

Privacy fences in residential neighborhoods tend to stand between 6 and 8 feet tall, but local building code usually dictates the maximum height. Livestock fences that border large land plots range from 3 to 6 feet. Shorter, decorative fences, which are common in front yards, are around 3 feet tall, on average. Fence height also tends to vary by material, with wood fences usually sitting at 6 feet tall, and chain-link and wrought iron fences tending to sit at half that.

Concrete is one of the easiest, most cost-efficient, and most effective ways to stabilize a fence post. To stabilize a fence post with concrete, you’ll dig a hole around the post in question and fill it up with concrete—easy as that. Concrete lasts about 50 years on average, so it’s a long-term solution.
