About Us: We are relatively new to the Spring Hill, TN area, and are proud to call Williamson County home. Our two children attend Allendale Elementary, and are heavily involved in sports, gymnastics, and cheerleading. We decided to relocate here when my wife Katie accepted a position with Vanderbilt Children's Hospital as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner upon graduating from UAB in 2015. It was a difficult decision to leave our friends and relationships in Birmingham, along with an established remodeling business, but we are glad we made the leap! This is a special community. What started as a part time carpentry job to earn money in college has turned into a passion and career for me. I have nearly 20 years of experience in home building and renovations. I started at the bottom, carrying lumber and helping where I could, and gradually progressed to positions of increasing responsibility. I spent three years as a Foreman and nearly five years as a Superintendent before taking the leap to start my own business a little over a decade ago. I'm thankful for those who took the time to teach me along the way. Our Company: Our reputation is extremely important to us, and we seek to continue to build on our reputation with each new client. This means showing up when we say we will, meeting project schedules and deadlines, and staying in contact with clients throughout the process. We provide written contracts that describe the scope of work, payment schedule, timeline, and materials used in detail. We also provide full time on site supervision. This means you never have to be there to let someone in, or worry about keeping any eye on anything. We take great responsibly in making sure that the entire process in as painless as possible. A bathtub liner can be a good idea if your budget is your top concern when planning a bathroom remodel. Installing a new bathtub liner can give your bathroom the look of a complete renovation without the high price tag. But, it’s somewhat of a band-aid fix and won’t work for all homes, like if you have a freestanding tub.

If your Corian® countertop begins to appear dull or dirty, or you notice scratches on the surface, you can return it to its original finish while maintaining its look. To do this, repair any scratches with a repair compound and sand the surface after it dries. 

Then, use an orbital sander with either a 100-, 30-, or 15-micron disc and finish with a hand pad (like Scotch-Brite™ 7447 or 7448) or lamb’s wool bonnet and automotive cutting compound for a matte, semi-gloss, or gloss-finish, respectively.

The reglazed tub won’t last as long as a brand-new bathtub. Professional reglazing jobs can only last up to 15 years.

According to most pros, you can only reglaze a tub once or twice. So, if you’ve already reglazed your tub once, it might not be a realistic solution.

Some chemicals used in reglazing a bathtub can be dangerous to your health. If you’re DIYing the project, ensure the room is ventilated, and always wear a mask. If you hire a contractor, make sure you get the clearance to use the bathroom again.

Even at the lowest setting, there’s always a risk that pressure washing might damage your shower or tub. Never use this technique if there’s pre-existing damage in your shower or tub, like peeling caulk, sealant, or cracked tiles. And skip this method entirely if there are any wood features present.

There are a few ways to check whether your tub is fiberglass or acrylic. If your tub is a color other than white, then your tub is likely acrylic (as fiberglass tubs are usually white). Check to see if there is discoloration on the bottom of the tub, because if it’s yellowed, then you can be fairly sure it’s fiberglass.

Also, fiberglass tubs have thinner edges and are cool to the touch. Acrylic, on the other hand, is either room temperature or warm to the touch.
