"Removed flying squirrels and gray squirrels. Installed new, heavy duty screens over attic vents. Have not had any issues since this work was done. Did initial cleaning of stucco. Said he was getting another surface cleaner to possibly do a better job. Never called. Never came back. I repeatedly called and left messages. I emailed him. He never responded. Very surprised and disappointed."
"We smelled a skunk outside and the smell would occasionally drift inside. Volunteer Wildlife Control came out and inspected our crawl space, under our screened in porch, and around the back deck. He didn't see anything but said skunks are known to wander from home to home and that he could come back so he set a trap. He left the trap out back for a few weeks but nothing ever went into the trap, but the smell wouldn't go away. The smell was very strong on one side of the deck so Doug came back out and began removing deck boards one by one until he saw a dead skunk. Doug removed the dead skunk and replaced all of the boards. Doug is so patient because I called many times complaining of the smell and he came out each time without hesitation. Doug is persistent, pleasant, friendly, and obviously loves what he does and will do anything to help you and solve the problem before it gets worse! I highly recommend Doug Ladd with Volunteer Wildlife Control! "

Pest control and wildlife removal are different services. Pest control specialists typically handle insects and bugs, often using chemicals and poisonous sprays for extermination. Wildlife removal professionals, on the other hand, focus on larger animals. They prioritize humane methods like trapping and relocation, using poison only as a last resort. For insect problems, contact a pest control professional; for issues with other animals, an animal or wildlife removal specialist is the correct choice.
No, you shouldn’t have to worry about bats in your yard as long as they don’t make their way inside your house. Typically, bats hang around backyards in order to consume bugs, especially if they’re located in the U.S. Bats that are native to North America can consume more than 500 bugs per hour, so they may actually benefit your yard if mosquitoes are prevalent.
Natural swimming pools are designed to deter pests, including mosquitoes. While any body of water can potentially attract pests, the natural filtration system keeps the water clean and constantly moving. Mosquitoes specifically are attracted to standing water, so the continuously circulating water in a natural pool makes it an inhospitable environment for them.
Numerous predators kill hornets, including frogs, birds, lizards, bats, spiders, and hedgehogs. Some larger predators, including rats, skunks, and racoons, will occasionally attack a hornet nest in order to eat the larvae inside. These natural predators typically don’t eat enough hornets to make them an effective form of hornet control.
