He and those working with him were knowledgeable and experienced. He created a good design drawing, and detailed itemized cost estimate so it was clear what the scope included. He was patient with us as we modified the design and added design elements over several months. Communication was excellent so that there were no surprises. Final cost and end product were exactly as quoted. They obtained building permits as needed, He kept us informed of any delays in the construction dates, due to weather & delays in other projects. "I had a fireplace insert that did not work. The technician that checked it out said it needed to be replaced, so I agreed to buy a new one. I asked if I could get the initial inspection fee of $259 dropped if I ordered a new one. He called the office and confirmed that they would. A second technician came out to install the new insert. He wanted me to pay the bill but the $259 was still on there. He called back to the company and told them that I was told that the $259 was dropped and I paid the balance. A couple of weeks ago I received a bill for $259. I called and explained the issue to someone and they promised that someone would call me back. I never heard anything so I assumed that everything was okay. I received a bill via email again this morning. I wrote back explaining my problem. I got a return email with no explanation and they attached the same bill again. Am I to assume that they are not honoring their promise?"
