"The trees were removed as agreed to and the stumps ground.  The crew cleaned up all the debris including the stump chips, leaves, and sticks.  They repaired any damage to the lawn as well.  Other than the evidence where stumps used to be there the crew left the yard as they found it - very little saw dust and no other lawn damage.

"I had a huge tree limb fall between my yard and the neighbors. They removed it and cut it up for me to use in my firepit. They did a good job. Cody was very nice and personable. He stayed in contact with me until the job was done. I would recommend them."

"Cody and his guys were great!! They were so professional and respectful. Hard workers for sure. They did an amazing job with my yard!! We actually hired somebody else first to do part of the job because they were able to come out sooner, but they were so bad we ended up calling Cody to fix it. We really wish we called him the first time, they are worth every penny! I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone who needs tree work!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

A chainsaw is the best tool to cut down a tree, but you may also use a handsaw or ax. You may also want to use a lopper or pole saw to remove limbs before cutting down the tree. Wear chainsaw chaps and protective gear, including eyewear and earplugs if you use a chainsaw. Again, if you’re unsure about how to use this tool, this project may be one to skip.

You can use the formula mentioned earlier to calculate the depth of tree roots. Each inch of width of a tree trunk translates to six inches of depth within the root system. Large trees extend anywhere from 2 to 6 feet into the ground, with some magnificent specimens going even deeper.

White vinegar does not kill ivy on trees because its acetic acid concentration is not high enough to overpower it. Vinegar is an effective herbicide for weeds and other plants, but not for the strength of most ivies, including poison ivy and English ivy. You should use an herbicide to kill ivy, such as one with glyphosate, imazapyr, or triclopyr.

You can remove a small tree from your yard if there’s space for the tree to fall, you have the right tools and safety equipment, and you follow a clear plan of action. You’ll just want to follow the steps above carefully, and ideally, you will have experience doing similar tasks. If you have any doubts that you can do this project safely, though, you should hire a pro.

Late August, September, and mid-October are the ideal months for planting a young tree. However, the best time to plant a tree ultimately depends on when the weather transitions to fall-like conditions and eventually winter frost. As long as the hottest days of summer have passed and the ground hasn’t frozen yet, you can still successfully plant trees.
