"Concretewrks did a terrific job on my two projects. I recommend them 100%. I had my driveway, garage and backyard paved and it all came out beautifully. Everyone who sees it gives unsolicited complements to the quality of the work."

"I was very much impressed with the installers and their work. They left the place cleaner when the left than when they found it. They also put in a patio cover for me and they did great on that also!"

"This crew was fantastic!!! My deck was a mess with the old stain. They sanded and pressure washed for several days and finally got it all off and then stained it. I am so pleased and have the neighborhood stopping by to say how great it looks. I would highly recommend this company. Great to work with and hard working!!! They’re the best!!!"

"Andrew, Mark and Becky were excellent people to work with. Constantly adding other improvements and suggestion to make the project work better. And they really did a bang up job. They took a linen closet, enlarged it and moved our washer and dryer up from the basement. This was needed because of health problems. From what we thought was going to be a cramped and small space turned out to be a sizable space with the washer and dryer and room for some shelves. Wish I could post some pix,but I'm not savvy enough. These folks are personable and fun to work with. We will use them again. My wife already has a coup.e of projects in mind for them."

"This company is very professional to work with. Also, they run their company in a very competent manner. The team that worked on our kitchen remodel was there on time every day and worked all day. They did excellent work and I was most grateful they had competent people doing their jobs. I did not want to have to look for my own electricians or plumbers. They have at least five teams that work on different jobs. I am very fortunate that I found Tri-Cities Remodeling. They did an excellent job and I now have a beautiful kitchen."

Patios questions, answered by experts

Increases living space and adds value to the home through enhanced utility.

Prefab kits like a small sunroom for around $20,000 or even a basic gazebo roof for as little as $60 can save you big over professional installation. However, you lose the option for customization, and these structures tend not to last nearly as long. As for bigger projects like a deck or patio, you shouldn’t go with the DIY route unless you’re fully prepped with the tools and know-how to get it done right. Mistakes can be frustrating and costly, so choose a pro if you’re looking to eliminate your risk of error.

The average cost to enclose a patio to create a sunroom is around $5,000, and prices generally range from $3,000 up to $10,000. The price you pay will depend on the state of your patio and whether it needs repairs or additional structural support, the quality of the materials you choose, the size of your patio, and whether you plan to run utilities into and finish the sunroom. The price for a fully finished patio enclosure could run up to around $20,000, while you might pay just $2,500 for a screened-in porch.

Yes, enclosing a patio to create a sunroom or three-season room is often a good idea that adds value to your home. This project increases your home's usable square footage and creates a versatile space for relaxing or entertaining that is filled with natural light and can be used in various weather conditions. Homeowners may see an average return on investment (ROI) of around 70%. The final value added will depend on factors such as the quality of the materials, the level of finish, and the amount of yard space that remains after the enclosure.

Whether it's better to add a sunroom or a regular room to your home depends on your goals. If you need extra bedrooms, building rooms with four standard walls makes more sense than adding a sunroom. If you don't need extra sleeping areas but would like to expand the living space of your home, a sunroom makes sense.
