However when the weather got warm I was going to take my hub around out into the yard but the door frame was too small from what it used to be. I called and asked if they could come and modify the door frame and they were quick to respond and modified my door frame from the kitchen out to the porch. Now I can take my hub around outside and enjoy working in my flowers. I highly highly recommend Robin's remodeling. They are a fantastic crew and deserve nothing but the best. In most cases, painting your brick house is a fine idea that can open up new aesthetic possibilities. However, the paint can slightly shorten the life span of brick, especially if moisture gets trapped underneath the paint layer. Once you paint, you’ll have to keep up with maintenance to avoid flaking and blisters. 

Generally, interior paint takes up to one month to fully cure. Factors like temperature, humidity, the type of paint you used, and the surface you painted over will affect how long it takes. In particularly dry areas, your paint will cure in 30 days, whereas humid locations may take more than a month. While paint may feel dry to the touch in a matter of hours, it takes much longer for it to cure, so be careful around newly painted surfaces within the first 30 days after painting.

Depending on factors such as weather, use, substrate condition, and type of paint used, pool deck paint should last anywhere from 1 to 5 years. Keeping the paint clean and resealing every year or two can help extend the life of the paint. Proper preparation before painting also plays a large role in how long the paint lasts on a pool deck. Paint will likely not last as long on a pool deck in poor condition before painting.

Sometimes you can get away with simply sanding and painting over small areas of peeling paint. However, the problem will likely return quickly, and the ridge between old and new paint will be visible. If you just need a quick fix and won't worry about appearance, chip away the peeling paint as much as possible, prime and paint the area, and skip the spackle step.

You can hide wallpaper seams when painting by applying joint compound over them and then sanding thoroughly until smooth. You’ll want to apply two layers of compound, allowing for four to eight hours between coats. Do a light sanding between coats and then after the final coat is dry. Once the compound dries completely, you can begin priming and painting the wall.
