"I contacted Asheville Paint and Decorating owner, Bobby Brown, the end of May. He came to the house and we discussed what needed to be done. He told me the brand of paint to use when we selected our colors and suggested that we get samples and paint a portion of the wall to be sure of the color was what we wanted and explained how colors could look different at different times of day in different lights. Several days later, he sent me a contract which specified the work to be done and the cost.
I told him we were not locked into a specific time frame to get the work done. (Of course, you should set up a work schedule before you sign a contract if time is a factor for you.) Later in the summer we had family coming unexpectedly and we asked him if he could possibly get the guest bathroom done before they came. He very graciously came and got that part of the job done. Also, I decided to have more work done that we had originally contracted and he was agreeable to making the changes. He completed the work in late November.
Mr. Brown came when he said he would. He and his crew were very easy to work with. They moved all the furniture into the center of the rooms where they worked and covered it with tarps or plastic wrap to keep everything clean. We did not have to do anything except remove any fragile items. They cleaned up after painting and put the furniture back before they left in the evenings each day so that we were able to live in our house while they worked.
I would highly recommend Asheville Paint and Decorating for residential or commercial work.

"Dario and his team were great in every way. Dario was very responsive, always on time, and easy to work with. His crew arrived promptly each morning and worked until after dark. They were even here on Thanksgiving Day to finish up. They moved everything themselves (Some contractors required that we move absolutely everything.), they did the necessary carpentry/repair work as part of the job, and even stained the deck three times when unexpected rain damaged the finish. They painted inside and out and refinished our front door, which looks wonderful. Other contractors didn't seem to know what to do with the lead glass door. They matched all the paints, cleaned up after themselves, and were always polite and cheerful. They weren't the cheapest but, considering they included repair work and could do everything I asked, I believe they were the best. I would not hesitate to hire them again for the next painting project."

My deck had a few areas that needed to be replaced, so they did that as well. The workmen showed up promptly each morning and cleaned up each evening. All in all they did an A+ job. "We have had great experiences with Colorful Mountain! We originally hired them to paint the interior of our house which was no easy task. We have a two-story craftsman style home with LOTS or wood beams, etc. They are great communicators, on-time and schedule, and didn’t go over their original quote, did a fantastic job and were much more reasonably priced then other companies (stay away from One Day Painters!). We then hired them to replace some wood posts on our porch. Again, they did an excellent job. We will definitely hire this company again!"
