"Heidi was very easy to work with and did a very good job cleaning our house from top to bottom. She may want to try a different cleaning solution for cleaning tub/shower surrounds because it took a second rinse for us to wash it off, but other than that everything was wonderful."

"I contacted Abel's to do a monthly clean for a 4 bedroom, 2400 sqft house.  It took awhile to work out the details, as the original price quoted was too steep for what I needed.  After doing some research, it was apparent that this seems to be the going rate for cleaning, but since I was not able to swing it (price quoted was ~$500 for the initial clean and then $135 afterwards).  I was able to work out an arrangement that was mutually acceptable to both parties.  Scheduled the cleaning.
Abels did a fantastic job.  I was not there, but my mother was there to "supervise" <grin>.  We have three cats and the associated kitty fur and dander on most of our cleanable (and not so cleanable) surfaces. They did a great job of handling that extra mess.
When I got home from work the house was pretty spotless.
I would recommend them again. Great people to work with.

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The fastest way to soak up water in carpet is to use a wet/dry shop vac to draw out as much water as possible. Afterward, apply firm pressure to towels to sop up any remaining moisture, then liberally sprinkle baking soda over the carpet and let it sit for at least an hour before vacuuming it up. You can speed up the process by opening windows, using blower fans to create airflow, and running a dehumidifier.

Frequent vacuuming and spot cleaning, plus periodic deep cleaning to preserve condition.

Besides feeling icky grit when walking barefoot in your home, not mopping the floors can create health risks. Pollen, dirt, dust, and overall filth lead to allergen, bacteria, and even mold buildup, polluting your home and creating an unhygienic environment. You also risk damaging the floors due to stains and scratches with neglect. Lastly, your home will become less inviting due to odors from the lack of cleaning.

Our guide can also work for old tomato stains. If you’re trying to get rid of a lingering spot from spaghetti dinners past, you can skip step one and jump directly to step two.

Pro tip: Allow soaking time for older stains. We recommend waiting at least 10 minutes between applying your cleaning solution and blotting it up.
