Customers say: Quality work

"Christian was very quick to respond within minutes and dropped into check in on a drywall hole that was necessary as part of an electrical work . He was very professional and quick to answer questions and provide an estimate. Work was scheduled the very next day and JD completed it flawlessly. I would recommend this company. They don’t come cheap but they are quick and get the work done."

Small jobs welcome

"I would definitely recommend this company. They went above and beyond. I contacted them this morning to get a quote to repair a 9x3â hole in drywall. They gave me a great price and showed up on time that afternoon. They also patched 6 drill holes and applied primer at no additional cost. They did excellent work, you canâ t even tell there was a big hole in my wall at all. Very professional, on time, great work, I will definitely keep their number for any future work I may need."

"Beware of a promise of shower tiling, painting and other work which is beyond their focus! Their Drywall was very good and commendable. The painting was fair. The tile shower leaked and cost me more than I paid them to repair! But, these are otherwise honest, friendly people whom I would recommend for drywall & plaster work, with complete confidence."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

To hide drywall edges, you need to properly apply drywall tape and multiple layers of joint compound. These materials hide the seams between drywall sheets and fill the holes from drywall screws, leaving behind a smooth, flat finish to paint over. Apply joint compound smoothly, and finish the job by sanding the walls to make sure you fully hide drywall edges and other imperfections.

White walls are the toughest color to keep clean and maintain, as they’re extremely unforgiving when it comes to dirt, splatters, dust, and smudges. Still, many people look past their high-maintenance requirements because they lighten and modernize a space beautifully. If you’re opting for white walls, it’s especially important to keep up with regular cleanings, so they stay pristine.

Popular wall textures include orange peel, knockdown, spray sand, and smooth finishes. Orange peel and knockdown are particularly common choices for drywall as they are simple and cost-effective. Orange peel texture has a lightly bumpy surface resembling the skin of an orange, while knockdown (sometimes called knockout) looks like a stucco finish with flattened high spots. In contrast, popcorn texture has fallen out of fashion, partly due to its past association with asbestos and a shift toward more restrained interior design styles.

Drywall anchors won’t work on plaster. Instead, they will more than likely cause more damage and pull out the plaster. The best type of anchors to use on plaster walls are the ones that will bite into the surrounding area, such as molly bolts and toggle bolts. Masonry anchors with expanders on the sides also work for lighter pictures.

Yes, cabinets are installed over drywall. The drywall must be in good condition, and you must ensure that the wall can handle the weight of the cabinets. Secure the cabinets to studs and use proper anchoring devices, like toggle bolts.
